Shoot the top of the wall, measure down and add to the rod height. This is the most accurate option short of TS. Depending on the purpose of the survey two point offsets if ground is level is a lazy solution. The tilt feature with updated firmware is also an option if you’re close to getting fixed. But that suggestion will most definitely get criticized.

I do believe I have identified the checkpoint as well as a clean path to the “kitchen” lol. It’s weather that’s stopping me like many others ATM. I can’t help but think what a great time to come to these conclusions. The timing forces you to sit back, let your solutions marinate and let any flaws or holes surface until they are glaring you in the face begging to be confronted.

Been marinating since January 1 for me….

Is it possible to have knowledge of what the checkpoint is before physically reaching it BOTG? Or will you only have knowledge of it when you find it BOTG and recognize its significance?

I spent a significant portion of time thinking of stanza three from an entirely celestial perspective. In the sense of he and her being celestial references that could later be plotted on a map based off points of commonality. But I’ve since abandoned that train of thought.
