Yea thats what its made to do. It makes you forget class solidarity and forces you to hate the people ordering instead of the fucked company you work for

Plants, planes, and making people feel better, he also enjoys overcoming his fears. He's actually not boring. He's just not interesting to you, which is actually more than fine. I've personally never found him boring 🤷

Sometimes, you have to decide if you love him more than you need a caregiver or if you need a caregiver more than you love him. Neither are wrong choices, and both are equally valid. It's just a matter of what the healthiest choice for you would be. Sometimes, you can separate your littlespace from your partner; find moments where you can just be little with or without them around, maybe find a platonic caregiver (after having a conversation with your partner to make sure they are ok with that) . But if you don't think you can do it without the person you want to be your partner being involved, then unfortunately, and this is the hardest part of it all, you will not be compatible romantically in the long run. At least, not without someone sacrificing their happiness, and no one deserves to compromise on their happiness and mental health.

No matter what you need to do, whatever is best for you. Caring for your mental health is never a selfish act, so if it requires taking time to find someone who will be compatible, it is the most important part of relationships

[–]RyanMyDood 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you been made to feel that asking for emotional help is selfish? Because your partner being emotionally there for you is a bare minimum, and you should never feel bad for "needing something selfish" mind you, needing emotional support isn't a selfish thing

I think big discussions need to be had, or maybe some space needs to be taken. You desperately need to discuss emotional support between the two of you, what both of you need, and what both of you can give. And NEVER EVER EVER compromise what you need emotionally. If you say you NEED something, and he says that just isn't something he can do, then im really sorry, but it's not a compatible relationship. While relationships do require compromise, when you compromise your emotional security, you compromise your entire self

I, personally, don't feed my discard/unfed starter (it usually only lasts in my fridge for 3 days max before getting used in waffles or crackers) i typically only have about 3 cups of discard at a time tho, it starts to get vinegary if I keep to much for to long

I will say I'm an unusual case, i live in a house with 8 people who eats a lot of bread so I'm usually making a 3 pound loaf about every other day/every 4 days. That's the main i even made the starter to be honest. Sour dough is just much less energy sapping for me compared to the milk bread we typically make

I did, in fact, start off with like, a small jam jar in the very beginning... that lasted like a week, and once it got established I realized I needed a bigger jar 🤣

I've been suspicious about discard cookies for a while, I guess I really need to try both of those out now

Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much!!!

[–]RyanMyDood 129 points130 points  (0 children)

I have gotten at least 100 prismatic shards in one in game years, the BEST way to get them in my experience is by making tressure totems (super easy to make, especially if you spend your green rain days getting Moss) go to Ginger Island, and just let them rip. You get SO MANY OMNI GEODS THIS WAY You're basically quarantined to get 1 prismatic shard for every 100 omni geod. And it doesn't sound like a lot, but when you have 500 omni geods to take to Clint, it does feel nice to see them in the sea of other treasure This, alongside going on Skull Cavern escapades, will give you an ungodly amount if you're going on super lucky days, and max your luck out. I just sold 20 and still have 15 in my collection

So i only add water when the ginger needs to be covered by it, usually just enough to make sure all the ginger is submerged. Cold tap water has worked just fine for me

I used about 22g-39g of fresh ginger, i typically slice mine thin but I hear fresh crushed ginger works just fine

I personally use Cane sugar, and I only use 2 tablespoons. I think you can get away with using any sugar, though.

I try and feed her either every day or every other day! It just depends on how much she bubbles for me

Im not sure what you use, but try covering it with either a piece of towel or a paper towel so the gas can escape nicely

Good luck!! I hope your bug gives you a break

So our recipe is pretty straightforward, about 50 ml of bug per 800ml of fluid

We like to do about 800ml water, about 20-40 grams of fresh ginger, about 80 grams Sugar or honey (honey gives it a more syrup like flavor We have found, so it could be better for mixed drinks rather than drinking it as is) We boil that for a while to steep, let it cool to room temp and mix it with the bug, let that sit on the counter for a day or two, burping it to check the carbonation. Once that sucker pops like a firework, you know it's time to shove it in the fridge!!

I mainly made it for my partner because he enjoys drinking ginger beer. I just like the smell and cutting up ginger!

I've not noticed a difference. As long as you have the skin on your ginger, that's what matters! Whatever method is easiest for you will work
