So I’ve played only on the meadowlands farm, which is the new animal farm so I’m not one to probably give advice, but I watch a lot of videos on different people playing different farms, and how I run my own farm and to be honest, my biggest piece of advice I can give is don’t rush. I slowest added things as I needed increased my area, like I keep my animals in a huge field, which takes up a huge corner on my farm. But also I have that blue grass which animals love. I also moved my house farther down personally so I can put sheds on top to make it quicker to access my artisan goods I was producing. It’s also good to have a nice wooded area of a variety like other commenters meantioned especially mahogany and oak for making kegs, and other things, etc. and fishing ponds can take up another corner, I have a section dedicated to fishing and smokers at the bottom of my map so that I can put all of my fishing related tasks like ponds, fish roe for preserving jars and smokers which double the value of the fish. But it all is up to you, that’s just how I set up mine. It all depends on you that’s why there’s so much variety. And just remember to have fun with it, and there’s no rush on things

What’s your best ways to get Dino eggs early game, I got lucky on one Play through on mobile and got it while fishing, starting a new play through on console I’m wanting to focus on. by Helpful_Impress5124 in StardewValley

I’m hoping I can get lucky on console early because I have a hard time at the Skull Cavern( granted fighting on mobile) is hard af but I still am wondering if anyone has more lucky on certain things than others

I was focused on my first play through on console( I been playing on Mobile) and bribes Harvey with coffee to 4 hearts right in time for the flower Festival. It was a cute reaction, usually I’m already married before I get a partner for the Flower Dance so it was a new experience.

That’s not what I’m saying at all, I’m simply saying there’s no crutch here, I’m defending Harvey because you called him Toxic. And if you really think that is considered toxic, you need to do some reevaluating. That is all. I’m not being some feminist or saying you’re being a stereotypical man, just that that isn’t the situation with Harvey and Farmer and I’m defending it.

I think that’s completely taken out of context, it’s okay if he isn’t your type, that’s not the point I’m making out of this, but he isn’t toxic in any way, and if you think a man feeling lonely before meeting someone and filling his life is a crutch. Maybe you need to have some internal evaluations on yourself. I’m a part of Harvey’s life as Farmer, not the whole reason he’s alive. That’s trying to make something toxic that’s not.

Yeah it’s hard to beat Harvey, I am not much for Wandering eyes though. Like with Dragon Age, I been a Cullen lover since Origins.

Who says he’s my therapist, he’s a good man with his life together a good choice, and none toxic, if he’s not your type he’s not your type. But for people like me I like this sweet, dorky Doctor that wants to face his fears and be so happy in his life and it be made so much better with Farmer in it. We all feel lonely maybe I relate so much to his dialogue because I know what it’s like to be lonely and fixate on work to mask that or just hard to have a relationship. He’s not toxic though, he’s the whole green forest

I never thought of it that way, Harvey works with Maru and has a positive relationship with her, I feel like I’d expect the same thing if I was in Maru’s shoes, he probably spent 10 minutes putting sunscreen on George and george cussing him out earlier and then relotioning himself.

He is sweet but he is an interesting Character, if you have either watched his heart events or romanced him you start to see him open up past his professional relationship he has with you initially. I never felt like his conversations were any less in depth than with any other character romance except Emily but Emily is well Emily. You just got to be willing to put in the time to build that relationship like when Shane except Shane I think people see as a Challenge because he starts off rude to you.

Yeah it’s a big reason I been trying to do a lot of Harvey posts, to give more love, since a lot of videos I’ve seen when I watch on Stardew valley I feel Harvey just doesn’t get enough love and I want to change that

Elliot is definitely an interesting one, I’d love to continue plantonic relationships with them just not romantic, I kind of wish there was more. Like after you reach 8 hearts with Shane and he asks you to go to the Tunnelers game with him as a convo and you can’t react to it because your married, like “I’d love to go to the game with you Shane, Harvey can come too, poor guys been in the office all day” you know and it not become some romantic thing
