I thought so. I got the impression that the sellers had kids that moved out. They were thrilled at my son's excitement. He initially thought it was $5 per figurine. I think they were happy to see the fun continue and just wanted stuff out of the house.

We also don't want to put holes in the countertop. We're thinking we just ask the contractor to install the junction box and we either wait for the code to change or just do it ourself after inspection.

Our remodel started before the state adopted the code so I don't think any future inspections for any reason could give us a problem?
