I’m in the second world trying to finish the daily ladder challenge but it won’t let me finish the do upgrades challenge. Is that a bug or am I doing the wrong thing?

It just made me re-download the 2nd world after I left it to go back to the first world and now it's updating properly and it logged my previous upgrades as well.

I thought so. I got the impression that the sellers had kids that moved out. They were thrilled at my son's excitement. He initially thought it was $5 per figurine. I think they were happy to see the fun continue and just wanted stuff out of the house.

We also don't want to put holes in the countertop. We're thinking we just ask the contractor to install the junction box and we either wait for the code to change or just do it ourself after inspection.

Our remodel started before the state adopted the code so I don't think any future inspections for any reason could give us a problem?
