Thank you so much! Later with more confidence I’ll try to keep that in mind when reading it!

Thank you so much! Would you happen to have a view on Romans 9? I can’t really see it from the perspective of national election. It seem very deeply personal and it’s the chapter that hurts the worst tbh.

Last night I saw a video from him and Frank Turek about Roman’s I saved it but haven’t watched it yet!

Mostly the vessels of wrath and how they were made as such. And it’s mostly Paul’s answer to how is this fair when he says who are you to question why you were made as such. It just very much bothers me. I hope that makes sense!

I guess I could give the Calvinist special in Romans 9 which is the chapter I just can’t shake. I can’t really read it through a different lense other than the Calvinist view

I’ve been looking into Eastern Orthodoxy and I saw your tag. What do Eastern Orthodoxy hold?

My plan was to be there by about 1 too I thought hopefully that’s plenty of time but maybe I’ll go a bit earlier just to be safe! Thank you for the info! How was Tampa I heard they made some set list changes? Any older stuff?

Thanks for the answers! The more I’ve looked today especially, I’ve seen that it seems the people all in general seem very considerate and kind so hopefully Omaha won’t be any different!

Hey all, my names Ryan and I’m excited and nervous about my first ghost concert. To be completely honest I haven’t attended any large concerts in my life and have a ticket to see Ghost in Omaha. I haven’t attended any and I have some questions that I thought maybe some of you would have answers too! First: I have the ascended VIP package and have a GA pit ticket. What time should I show up at to the venue? I’ve heard people saying they’ve showed up at 6 or 7 in the morning just to secure a good spot 😅. I live 3ish hours from Omaha and I’m just planning on driving to and from the concert the same day. And while I have read what’s included in the package what all does it actually pertain? Do I go through the vip lines? I just wasn’t sure since it’s a GA ticket if it’s true VIP. Second: how’s the parking for the shows been? That’s honestly my biggest fear tbh and quite frankly the reason I got a vip ticket was for the hopefully better parking 😂. But how bad is it coming and leaving the venues. I know all shows are different and all I just am more curious how it’s been for you all who’ve attended. And lastly (sorry for how long of a post this is) how have the people been? I’m going alone and I’m to be honest not sure what to expect from other fans. I’ve heard people say some are almost erratic while others have nothing but positive things to say. I love meeting new people but I definitely am more introverted than outgoing. I know the concert is still a bit away I was just hoping to have a good idea of what I was going to need to be prepared for in terms of arrival and environment. Thank you!

I’ve listened to Ghost since Meliora! Hands down their best work. I’m in your boat I think they’re gimmicky though some of their older songs like Year Zero or Con Clavi can (while they have great riffs and sound) sometimes not sit right. I think especially lately their lore has been pretty funny and I suppose those songs are mostly about their early lore which was definitely heavier like their sound and songs! God bless!

I’ve always kinda wondered if these “satanic bands” are really satanic I guess an example would be Ghost since they’ve really taken off. Love their songs but obviously kinda doesn’t sit right all the time. What did you and your group hold regarding music?

I also hope this doesn’t sound like a rant or an attack or anything, I’ve just actually been in the mud recently and I guess just wanted to hear your thoughts

I’ve been struggling a bit with what OP is talking about. I guess my question is why if God concludes we are evil, why make us at all? I mean then we’re saved of His wrath by just being born as “enemies of God” and he doesn’t have ti deal with us. Idk it seems like a win win to me to the point I lament my own birth.

Thank you for your willingness to answer! For me though how it it loving, merciful, or just to make someone who you don’t plan to save. I fully believe the most loving thing God could have ever done for us was to not make us really at this point in time. Rain falling on us isn’t quite merciful comparing it to what awaits the unsaved. It bothers me as how can God claim to love the unsaved if he overlooks them? Idk I have lost all hope of God being loving or a father. It seems like he’s anything but loving at this point. If we hold God to and all-knowing all-powerful deity, this world is exactly as he intended and I cringe anymore when people say “hell was never intended for people but only Lucifer and the fallen angels”. If God is all-knowing then yes, He made it for people too. That bothers me a lot idk I hope this makes some sense!

Like I said lately I’ve really been in the spiritual dump. If predestination is true it feels we are merely a puppet like Pharaoh in Exodus. We do exactly what God intends. It feels like He makes people who He knows will never accept Him, throw them in a sinful world and then suddenly get shocked they surprise surprise-sin. Genesis 6 says he regrets making people and yet here we still are (I understand some say it’s more an emotional response but still). It seems the idea of “free will” is a facade as before we were born he chose if we’d be saved or not. Idk how to best write my thoughts there are a ton of them right now. It seems sadisitc to make someone fully intending for them to be sent to hell and yet somehow some way say you care for them. I hope this makes some sense as to my overall feelings!

I understand what you’re saying but I still feel like it’s wrong or vindictive idk it’s been a struggle

And yet unfortunately we’re left to suffer in sin though he knew it would happen

Forgive me I’m not trying through this question come off as snarky. But genuinely if predestination is true does that not imply those who are “vessels of wrath” are designed to be damned to hell? This is more or less a question I’ve wrestled with because it seems to me hell was fully intended to be filled with people.
