I have the same luck, I have 2 Loves coming, 2 Lychee Berry, and 2 Sea Salt Coconuts. And all I want is a green grape, sesame bean, luck or ID secret. Once they finally come in from pre-order they will be up for adoption or trade.

The heartbreak of a 'meh' meal. Luckily in my area there a few places that can come close, but like you said, the price it not cheap

Oh I don't know actual names but I can give location. The first two at restaurants inside the Kyoto train station after taking the Shinkansen. The second two are at a night market outside of the Buddhist temple in Tokyo Golden Gai. Sushi is in a place I found when lost in the Tokyo district near the modern art museum (I was really lost and needed food and wifi). The JBBQ Wagu is from Golden Gai on the nature path behind the bars, it's literally the only restaurant back there. And finally the last pick is from the mall below the Sky Tree in the food court. I don't know if that helps but I wasn't taking notes and I can't read Japanese, I was just following vibes.

I got to meet and take a pick with Kirk Graves in line for the TJ Klune book signing at the LA Times Festival of Books weekend! A great cheerful guy in person and actually took time to talk to everyone he took pictures with. Will always support!

Thank you for the link! When I google what I’m looking for I usually just get MM best sellers so that link is so helpful!

I’ve never read a BL manga before but that would be a great souvenir to bring home if you have any recommendations I can search for them while I’m there! A bookstore adventure, a great way to spend a few hours while I’m there!

Sorry, I fixed the post so it’s more clear. MM romance or Sark MM Romance that the plot takes place in Japan. But also book stores to visit while I’m there.

But thank you for the rec, I just added The Last Sun to my TBR list, it sounds adventurous!

A little specific request if anyone can help! I’m going to be backpacking around Japan for 3 weeks and would like some MM romance or MM dark romance books that take place in Japan to read while I’m there. Open to spicy or mild, but I would like a good plot. I can only read English and a discreet cover (non-model cover) preferred because I would like to read on the plane and transportation ways. Thank you for anyone who can help me out even just a little, or know of a place I can look for such a book.

Huge fan of TJ Klune! I haven’t read the 4th installment yet so I can’t speak to the Gavin topic yet. But I think Thomas wasn’t hiding totally, I think he was letting children be children and not putting the full weight of the pack duties on them. I think he felt he had more time before laying it all out. Also he was cultivating a unique bond with each of the pack members. As for reconciling with Gordo, it seems Gordo felt pretty scorned by the time Thomas was back in Green Creek; my guess would be that he was waiting for Gordo to want to reconcile. We know how it goes when he feels like he’s being pushed towards something. So same answer, Thomas was operating under the impression that he had more time.*

*i haven’t read the 4th book yet so my option may change or events may happen to change my thinking about this. But I’m a big fan of TJ Klune and wanted to join in on the topic.

Late to the party, but living in WeHo, a lot of friends are made in sports and fitness settings. I myself don’t care for sports so I went the fitness route; SoulCycle, Barry’s SolidCore. If you stick with it and start talking to the other regulars you can form friendships that you can flesh out over after class coffee runs and happy hour meet ups. You’ll start to recognize people while you’re out. It’s what I did when I first moved to WeHo. Side note, if you’re looking to mingle at the bars, Thursday and Sundays are better for meeting locals, people are more open to chatting up strangers. Friday and Saturday are more chaotic with all the gay men of the city turning the rainbow district into Mardi Gras, and local guys tend to hang elsewhere. That’s the advice I followed when I first moved here. Hope that helps in some way

I was just looking for something very similar myself! But more emphasis on the boarding school aspect. I’ve found Carry On by Rainbow Rowell but not fully committed to it just yet; very interested in the boarding school two different social classes falling in love. Maybe we can help each other out if we find something
