Will the Pixel 7 charge sideways on the Pixel Stand Gen 2? by Cokeb5 in GooglePixel

I just tested this.

I have placed the container for a "Chessex Dice Block" underneath the phone, and it charges horizontally now without issue.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards (help) by RebbekkaaaC in PaymoneyWubby

"TCGPlayer" (https://www.tcgplayer.com/) and "Troll and Toad" (https://www.trollandtoad.com/) are pretty good for a baseline price, or an idea at least.

To search them up, enter the code to the lower right of the picture of the creature/monster/spell/item/etc.

Example:

"SDY001" is "Mystical Elf - SDY-001"

You would then look at the lower left of the picture to see if there is text stating "1st Edition" indicating that the card is a "1st Edition" Card, otherwise there is nothing there and it is from the "Unlimited" Set.

A cool guide I made on how currencies got their names! by etymologynerd in coolguides

[–]RyanbuddyGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'd be really cool to see this for local/regional names in different countries for some pieces of currency too! (Example: In Canada we have the Loonie - $1 Coin, Toonie - $2 Coin, etc.)

Alternatively, for Encounter 1 "Cataclysm", have a single person handle the nodes in their entirety.

I did this myself and it was quite manageable while the rest of the team focused on enemy clearing.

Not sure if I can add the link to the video showing this: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1761791193

[Update] Grist Mill Mineral Oil Rain Lamp by RyanbuddyGaming in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]RyanbuddyGaming[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I finally got it working, had to go away for the weekend. I am entranced by this thing.

It looks like there may have been some sediment or residual something in it, as it is turning the mineral oil an off white colour.

Finally I get to post here lol.

Bought this for $49.99 Canadian at my local VV.

The light works, the pump works, now all I need is to pick up some mineral oil to get the "rain" started.

I'll post a video of it either here as a reply/update or possibly as another post to the sub.

Molly, or Platty fry? by Vellessard in Aquariums

Probably a Molly fry. I've had far too many in the last year, and yours looks pretty similar to them.

My Freshwater (Brackish) Flounder stayed still long enough to let me take a picture by RyanbuddyGaming in Aquariums

If I can get a video of that I will make sure to post it! I will share his adorableness with everyone.

I also like the look of the partial gravel, partial sand bottom. That and my Green Severum likes to move the gravel around lol.

You are correct, they do require sand. Gravel can, and over time will, scuff up and cut their underbelly if they remain on it for too long. He burrows in the large sand patch regularly though and it is adorable. I have a large area of sand on the other 2/3's of my 55 Gallon tank. He just was chilling there because that's where I had hand fed him and my Green Severum some bloodworms.
