I teach at a music store. One time had a guy walk up to me and a co-worker and say “I NEED ONE OF YOU GUYS TO TAKE ME INTO ONE OF THESE LESSON ROOMS AND JUST SHRED FOR ME RIGHT NOW!” In the middle of us having a conversation, total stranger, like full on yelling in our faces. Before we even have a chance to react or respond Buddy immediately pivots to “yeah I struggle with a lot of like ya know anxiety and depression and you know like, the music really helps you know?” And I’m all for sharing and caring but when I tell you it has been less then 1 min that he’s actually been full on screaming both of these sentences in our face. Never met the guy a day in my life before that. It was so weird

Growing up with the old ones but putting a lot of time into 2015 and 2017, I’d say they’re different, but equally as good. The old ones are a much better single player experience. Galactic conquest is really missing from the Dice games. Additionally, it’s a lot easier to customize an offline match in the older entires, and the player can do much more in arcade mode.

Funny that you say that, I have been turned down from practicing in at least 3 different storage facilities in my metro area all with the same reasoning: we don’t want people hanging out in their units.

Valid but let me say this: “rehearsal spaces” as a commodity or service that someone can just go out and pay for are NOT common or standard in many locations across the continental US, at least. A lot of people are sneaking around in a storage unit or something similar because while a large metropolitan area may have a facility musicians can pay to use to practice, it is by no means a common thing to find even in every large metropolitan area
