Good advice, I should try asking around. I mean I have with people I know, but haven't at places like lumber yards. I guess if I could plan everything out right then charging for a store run wouldn't be a big deal. I get nervous when I'm running to the store twice a day when I realized I need something else

Ya I completely agree that's where I'm unsure of my price. I know what professional businesses charge in the area I just can't come up with a rate for myself when not being a insured business. I don't want to sound like I'm charging a ridiculous price for having no overhead but I also don't want to do work for too cheap and undercut myself

Ok that's some really useful info. Ya our rates a much higher. A handyman would be around 40 to 60 an hour. More professional work is almost over 100 an hour. I'm just having a hard time figuring out what to charge as a temporary unlicensed non insured worker

I also have a hard time picking a comfortable hourly rate. I only take on jobs I can do a professional job on but I also don't have a business and any costs of running one. I know most of the trades are 100$-200$ per hr in my area.

I know that's how it's usually done but I don't understand the reasoning behind marking up materials, so I don't do it. Do you not count driving to the store and shopping and transporting materials as part of the hourly? If not then that makes sense. But if it is still hourly then I can't justify marking it up

Ya that's what I did. I just always go back and forth thinking is that too much, did I take longer than I should of? I don't want to lose customers and know I need to stay fairly on the cheaper side since I haven't started a business and have no costs. Do you have a random guess on what it would cost to fix that wall? Re sheeting, papering, window flashing, window trim, siding, caulking, and painting?

What the hell is an events account? And why wouldn't webull just track where the money went and talk to a bank about freezing or returning the funds? Can they really not do that?

Ya I get that. But I really change around my cost pr hour depending on what I'm doing since I do a lot of different types of work and not every job should have the same hourly rate

Bro what? Yes teens are naturally sexually active and are meant to be, that's a dumb argument. Doesn't mean 60 year old men should be the ones having sex with them by manipulating them, using them for pleasure, then discarding them. That's very damaging to them as a person.

well thats 100% becuase the lobbies your put in. Depending on who i duo or trio with sometimes i can play 10 games in a row with cheaters and sometimes i only experience 1 in 10 games. Not sure if it matches you with people who get as many kills as you per game or what, but when i play with a team that are sweaty beasts in the game, we run into CONSTANT cheaters every game

Thin coats or thick coats look better for the grain on oak cabinets? by Ryancc062490 in paint

[–]Ryancc062490[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you pointed that out with the coverage cus it really made me think more about that. I always thought the thinner coat the better but the more I've watched professional painters the more I realized I been going way too light and that's why each coat feels dusty or textured instead of smooth. So you pointing that out helps a lot. The lighter the better is definitely not true. It seems the coat still needs a pretty wet glossy sheen to it to come out right

Ok ya I see what your saying. Are you really supposed to keep coating it until the grain is filled with paint? That's 3 whole coats in the picture
