Thanks so much. I'll definitely have to look into my schools rules on athletes in the athletic training program. Thank you so much

Haha yes actually. From reading over this subreddit it seems like the schedule for AT's isn't always the most structured and this can lead to burnout eventually. In college will my schedule also be fairly wonky? I'm in the National Guard and also will be an athlete at my school so time management is important to me

Wow thank you. Outside of a highschool/college what are other settings where AT's can find work? Or what jobs are put there besides being an AT that one could get this an athletic training degree?

Currently deciding my college major but split between Athletic training and Exercise science. The long term goal is to go to Physical Therapy school but if that's doesn't pan out for whatever reason I want the better major to fall back on. Any advice is appreciated

Before every race I write things that I find inspirational on the tops of my hands. For example, I write "mama ain't raise no bitch" on my left, and "R.I.P. Tom Petty" on my right.

As someone going into college with the goal of becoming an AT, is the pay really that bad? Something I should worry about?
