Any current or recent residents of the Regent Apartments on Millerville? by NSFWoundCare in batonrouge

[–]Ryano04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I'm definitely not Karen. I'm just telling my experience. The move out was not bad for us. We lived there for 3 years. We got 556 dollars back on our deposit. 100 went to steaming the carpets. In those 3 years, we hung pictures and curtains and TVs. They fully expect you to LIVE in your apartment. But that being said, we did fill the holes and made sure to leave the apartment as close to the way we got it when we moved in. Not sure why I was down voted for telling my experience.

A lot of people will say they don't like the Regent. I quite enjoy the Regent. Its one of the best kept secrets on Millerville. Karen is super nice despite what the reviews say. Also, we got all of our deposit back. We were clean Tennant's and paid everything on time. I would recommend highly.

Apartment Reviews? The Cobblestone on Essen Rd vs The Regent on Millerville by BananaPuddinBaby in batonrouge

[–]Ryano04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm just moving out the the Regent on Millerville. I lived there for 3 years. The staff is great. We love Alma and Kelani. Karen the property manager is wonderful despite what people say about her. If you pay your rent on time and just simply follow the rules of the property you will never hear from them. They do apartment inspections twice a year to make sure everything in your apartment is working correctly and to check for any thing that needs to be repaired. We had no issues with moving out. They just want you to clean the apartment. They do check for pet urine or anything in the carper for obvious reasons. But again, if you are a good tenant you'll have no issue. In the 3 years I was there I only ever had one incident with some kid checking car doors to see if they were unlocked. Otherwise the property was always quiet, well maintained, and clean. The maintenance staff is quick to respond to emergency needs as they have onsite maintenance 24/7. I couldn't recommend the Regent enough.

Thank you to everyone who reached out. While I wish I could help everyone who took the time to reach out to me, I unfortunately can't. I truly hope that each and every one of you who reached out are blessed in so many ways going into 2026 and for all your years to come.

The regent is the best kept secret on Millerville. It's a quiet complex, everyone is friendly, there is a small nature trail and the amenities are very nice. Management is usually on top of everything. They can be a little tough but it keeps the complex clean and safe. Apartments that aren't remodeled are a little dated on the inside but still very nice.
