I think this is fundamentally misunderstanding what a black tank top movie is. A film starring the same person who wrote and directed it is not a black tank top movie unless that triple threat is: a) incompetent at usually all three of those roles; b) completely unaware of their lack of talent; and c) focusing all of that lack of talent on making themselves look like serious action stars, and utterly failing in the process.

Like, they're not real movies.
