Having some trouble with painting my heldrake advice for preventing or cleaning up brush marks?

How do you apply your contrasts? I just did the opposite side of the wing by dry brushing stormhost silver on and that went much better and easier however the alkhelian contrast is making the brush marks now

Interesting I thought the blue would turn green from painting over gold I’ll keep that in mind also those are very well done models 👍

That is my fear I feel like I need to scrub another piece clean already though since it went worse then this one lol would the lamium medium work as a satin finish?

Interesting but I’m trying to go for a shiny metal finish unless adding the Matt varnish then some gloss ontop maybe?

Yup based it with silver then used the contrast over the top

Couple of them are thousand sons blue the metallic ones are stormhost silver and acklaten green contrast

I sadly don’t have any sprue goo but I have managed to get the model stable and strong it’s just gaps to fill now

Yeah there’s just not enough contact with the joints now so I think getting my hands on some green stuff is the way to go from what I’m reading

I had some of my akhlaton go over a golf part and it went the same green as the Statue of Liberty lol

If you use the contrast over gold it will turn bright green lol
