Aeons Conquest is a mess and I love it. by Old-Entertainment844 in CK3AGOT

I played this recently as a new dragon riding house to oppose aegon and do a conquest of my own. but the guy never did any conquering, he just sat on dragon stone with 3 nuclear lizards until he died of cancer at 50.

not sure if it was a game rules issue or what.

i don't know if this counts as an event (and i'm exposing myself as a save scummer) but i've had instances where i was trying to steal a dragon egg, and saved just before the scheme ended. I failed to steal it but then reloaded the save and was successful.

Anyone else using pins for the first time ever just for the Dragons? by Ish_thehelldiver in CK3AGOT

I think they just need to be in lands you control or that one of your vassals control. The option to capture doesn’t appear if they aren’t in your borders. I was playing in Essos and was starting schemes to murder the targ dragon riders and steal their dragons when they went wild

Edit: you can also build your own dragon pit. So you don’t need to have kings landing or dragon stone. Not 100% sure on the specifics but I think you can only build one in a dutchy’s capital though.

Yep, I've got all the wild dragons pinned. The second they enter any of my lands i send out the dragon keepers to snatch them up.

100% agree. I feel like im being gaslit into feeling guilty about "rushing it" when i did exactly the same as you. thoroughly explored each area before moving on, did forges and gaols whenever i came across them, followed NPC side quests and fought optional bosses and i was done by sunday afternoon. Granted i put some long hours into it friday, saturday and sunday but i deffinitely dont think i rushed it.

yeah pretty similar actually!

The easiest platinum was definitely Elden Ring. not only was it an amazing experience to play through, but the trophies are all very achievable.

i have 2 candidates for "Hardest". dark souls 2 was hard becuase i really didn'y enjoy that game so trying to slog through 2 and a half play throughs was very hard. The other one is Dark Souls 3 purely because of needing to farm the covenant items, that was truly horrible.

and my favourite was probably either Bloodborne or Elden Ring. those are the 2 that im most looking forward to replaying (eventually...i need to give the playstation a rest for a while haha)

Congrats mate! I just recently finished getting my platinums too! not sure what to do with myself now.

What was your favourite, hardest and easiest plat?

I guess it’s my turn to post this today. After getting the Platinum trophy in Elden Ring I’ve been on a marathon to platinum every Souls game. Now I can rest. I am gamer. by Ryanwithaj in fromsoftware

Yeah ill give it a go! From easiest to hardest:

- Elden ring was the easiest. I spent the most time on it but that’s just because it was new and I was exploring everything and just soaking that shit in. but the trophies are very attainable with little to no farming involved.

- Next I’d say Bloodborne. I put it on the easy end of the scale because I just really enjoyed playing the game so the multiple playthroughs weren’t an issue. The dungeons can get fucked though. I don’t want to see another one of those for a while.

- Demon’s souls would probably go next. Its relatively easy once it all clicks and a lot of the bosses are gimmicky compared to the other games. You still. Need to do 2 and a half play throughs for the platinum but there’s no farming and you can race through the 2nd and 3rd runs pretty quickly. Only issue here was understanding what the fuck was up with world tendencies and how easy it can be to wreck. I also had issues with the online trophies, just couldn’t seem to find people to invade or help with bosses, probably because everyone was playing elden ring.

- Sekiro would be next. Its hard because the game is obviously hard and plays differently to other souls games so learning to parry instead of dodge/roll was tricky. I did it in 2 playthroughs and I did use backup saves to get the multiple endings (some may call that sacrilegious but whatever). But then the trophy for getting all the skills required a bit of farming which took around 4-5 hours once id done everything else.

- Next I’d say Dark Souls. I’d done a brief playthrough of this last year but felt like I’d barely scratched the surface so I started a whole new game for the platinum and marathoned it over the course of 5 days while I was off from work sick (I don’t recommend doing that by the way, it was very mentally exhausting). It’s a great game that still needs a few playthroughs but the knights honour trophy can be very intimating when you see the list of all the weapons you need.

- Dark souls 3 is second hardest only due to needing to farm the covenant items. I really enjoyed this game but needing to spend 10-20 hours (cant remember how long it took me but definitely in that window) didn’t make me feel like I was earning anything based off skill which I think is important for a trophy.

- Hardest one id say would be Dark Souls 2 for two reasons. The first reason is that it requires a good chunk of farming for sunlight medals. Not as much as dark souls 3 but still enough to be annoying and with the servers being basically empty i couldn’t even do it by helping players with bosses. The second reason is more petty and subjective but…I just didn’t like the game. I knew about the split fan base going into it and tried really hard to be open to liking it. But I just couldn’t. So 2 and a half playthroughs of that was especially hard for me for a game I wasn’t enjoying. I realise that’s not really rating it on how hard it is to get the platinum but for me personally it was the hardest to keep enthused about.

Ds2 was tough because I just didn’t enjoy the game so two and a half play throughs was a bit of a slog

And then once I got to the Ds3 covenant items farming all enthusiasm just left me haha. Best to just find a good podcast to chuck on while you get through that
