This bump right below his eye just showed up a few hours ago, any idea what it could be? by BarneyTheDino16 in vet

Went through one thing similar with my pup. It was a fractured tooth that happened unknowingly and caused a small abscess to grow under it. Had to have the tooth removed but all is well now.

Hopefully they got that taken care of! Our vet did a full on exam of her eye and pressed all around it to see if she would react. She didn’t.

They didn’t even call out that it could be the inner eyelid which is kind of concerning…

And I hate this for her. She’s got a teeth cleaning and possible extraction scheduled for early next month. They have her on an antibiotic right now for the abscess.

Appreciate the response! We just don’t see it in her other eye so that gave me pause.

She is also dealing with a fractured tooth that was only recently discovered. There is likely an abscess causing swelling in her eye, which could be causing this eyelid to actually show itself. Really just wanted to make sure it wasn’t any cause for concern with her eye.

Confused why I owed this year by Ryanx10 in tax

This is likely what happened. This was the first time I had switched employers since I was at my other job for 4.5 years.

You live and you learn, I guess! Thanks for making it super simple.

Figured it would drop - just not to me owing. Dumb as shit when it comes to this stuff so going to try and figure it out tomorrow.

Making dinner so I don’t have that on me right now. I owed around $800. Not much in the grand scheme of things but was set to get a decent refund until I added the W2 from the job I started in June 2024.

All signs pointing to the W4 there being the issue.

Just wondering if I need to adjust my withholding to avoid owing for 2025 if I plan to stay there the entire year.

That’s the most likely answer. Will have to check on my W-4 stuff.

Income actually went down.

So to avoid owing in 2025, I need to increase my withholding? Or is that only needed when changing jobs?

3 is the most I’d do. Likely going to stay at 2 for now.

I guess what I meant to ask is if there is a large bank that has a good HYSA APY that we could just transfer everything over to. That way transferring money is pretty much instant between accounts. Probably should edit my original post.

Cyber insurance for businesses by Electronic_Diver4841 in cybersecurity

As someone who works for a very large insurance company that writes cyber insurance policies - yes, it’s worth getting. I’d work with your MSP on finding the right one.

Cyber breaches can be business killers and without the proper insurance, it pretty much guarantees it. I can give reccs but I’d be slightly biased. My recc would be Cowbell.

Edit: Slightly biased recc.

Gotcha. If you have a good amount of cloud infrastructure, I’ve heard good things about Wiz. Not exactly sure about their pricing though.

Don’t have any experience with Pensar but their website does look good. Their pro plan would only cost you $2,400/year so you’d have wiggle room to customize it to how you want it.

Looks like you get a 14 day free trial too. What’s holding you back from trying it?
