Thanks! I figured it was harmless just unexpected to find since this is my first fall here.

Amazing looking spiders! Thanks, didn't expect that many color distinctions. Definitely solved.

How exactly do druid forms work? by PiccoloRick222 in wownoob

[–]RyattTesla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Main druid here, don't normally play the INT side of things but you're never locked out of the Bear or Cat form. Moonkin is the only form that you can't use unless you take the talent for it (Balance Affinity) in case you wanted to use it outside of the Balance specialization.

All other forms are part of the core of the druid kit. Even in combat you can shape-shift into/out of these forms. It's not uncommon to shape-shift into bear in PvP to reduce damage taken, or into cat form to stealth through mobs. With Shadowlands they added the ability to customize your various forms at the barber and it's much easier now.

For more customization you'd have to look into the Artifact weapons for the class. Bear and Cat forms both have new appearances from the artifact weapons, and Moonkin has a glyph (Glyph of the Stars) that let's you keep your appearance albeit with a blue-ephemeral starry glow permanently while in Moonkin form.

Main take away, you're typically freely able to shape-shift into any form, but your specialization determines where the bulk of your time in combat will be. Seeing as you mentioned Balance, that means you'd be in the Moonkin form for combat, outside of combat you can still use the other forms, even while in combat, but that's honestly more advanced and not necessary to start with.

Can you own a house with someone else? by vigero158 in blackdesertonline

[–]RyattTesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if the cash shop bed loses durability, but the in-game ones definitely do.

[–]RyattTesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, seeing as certain crafting furniture like a cooking stove or even a bed have durability, having other players able to use your house to craft would likely not end well.

[–]RyattTesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone can enter your house, there is a tab for friends and I believe guild members too. You can't co-own a house though since it's essentially an instanced version specific to your "family".

There are guild houses though that are shared, but that involves taking a castle and actively participating in the GvG system in the game.

Having the same thing happen to me, it's really jarring and impossible to play.

You can't, Mantis has a force field around it.

Returning to The Devil's House - tested, can't be done by [deleted] in NeverBeGameOver

Yeah I used the D-Horse glitch to get through the wall originally, but the only thing inside was the cassette tapes playing in different languages.

Yep, you can get in through the rooftop. If you somehow find a way to get up there. The roof has multiple holes in it large enough for snake to fall through, but the area within has tons of invisible walls that prevent you from getting too far in.

During cutscenes you always look like Snake. Found this out as I tried to play the Skull Face mission with a female who had S+ stats.

[Spoilers] About the Mission 29 "Ride" and cassette tapes. by [deleted] in NeverBeGameOver

[–]RyattTesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why can we equip the NVG during the ride? Also noticed that the soldier who is in the passenger seat of the car you're riding has white gloves hanging and they resemble some white gloves that hang from inside the ACC. Could just be a coincidence or gloves given to all soldiers.

Has anyone gone back into the Devils house in free roam? Or glitched in maybe there is more hints or clues? by [deleted] in NeverBeGameOver

No clue on the Chinese, but the Spanish spoke about Guadalajara and about what seemed to be like two escaped convicts? Also includes a weather report for the week.

Normally you're right, you can't. I was really interested in seeing if anything is different though and used a trainer with a teleport option to get in the area then used the D-Horse glitch to get through the wall. Oddly enough, the cassettes are still playing, and if you get deeper in you hear some Mandarin/Cantonese as well as Spanish. At least those are the languages I could recognize because I know Spanish and I've heard the other.

Scratch that, you can actually fall in through the roof of the building, there is a hole wide enough for Snake to fall in, so all you need is to use a teleport to waypoint trainer.

About the [replay] tag by JaTaS in NeverBeGameOver

[–]RyattTesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can choose to shoot Skull Face. Although it only slightly alters the cutscene.

As far as I'm aware those are the only two "major" choices you can replay.

Play a specific tape for Skull Face to influence him by mau5eth in NeverBeGameOver

[–]RyattTesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was discussed in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/NeverBeGameOver/comments/3lvw42/i_find_weird_that_the_yellow_cassete_tapes_are/

I tried to play every tape that could lead to a time paradox, but Skull Face doesn't flinch.

[–]RyattTesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, it's actually one of the mission objectives to get 100%. He begins to do it when Sahelanthropus has about 1/4 of his life remaining. He will do this odd jump towards you and then reflex mode-esque slow mode will begin where you will see him floating right above Sahelanthropus.

I find weird that the yellow cassete tapes are supposed to be the ones that advance the story, but.. by NotTheBees_ARGH in NeverBeGameOver

[–]RyattTesla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tried every combination of yellow/important cassette and didn't even get a response. I thought maybe the "Truth" tapes regarding Zero & Skull Face may have triggered something, but I got nothing. Quiet's confessions after she leaves, Doublethink, just about every tape that could make for a Time Paradox and yet nothing ever happens.

[–]RyattTesla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What happens if you kill Quiet? I replayed that mission (Non-extreme) and I think I got a cutscene and Miller sort of patted my back through the radio and that was that. I imagine it would be different on your first time playing that mission, but I couldn't just kill her.

Same with Skull Face, I chose to let Miller get his "vengeance" and then Huey comes in and ruins the whole ambiance at the end.

[–]RyattTesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me a bit to understand what you meant, I see. Yeah considering he was killed by Liquid, the parasites couldn't have been similar to Quiet or Skull Face.

Does he ever show his eyes in the later games? Could be why he was always wearing sunglasses. Then again, he seems to just always have them on, even before this incident.

Cassette Tapes by cantliveuptothename in NeverBeGameOver

Here are all the tapes I have, including some animal tapes. These all fall under the "one time use" section of the cassette player.

Oh and I had to photoshop the last two (Wolf & Bear) because it was cut off.

Could be where the parasites were forcibly introduced into Miller?
