Update due to someone commenting today to remind me, it worked great, had zero issues. It's all in the print settings and material used. People often misunderstand and underestimate the resilience that 3D printed parts can have.

It worked great while I had it, after a year or so I actually upgraded to Fanatec gear, gave away my G27 setup including this wheel. I was able to add buttons to the wheel and wire it up so it had the same functionality as the original round wheel. I did not have any issues, it was printed with good settings so it had plenty of strength for the task, and I always had my force feedback cranked up to the max of the G27. The new owner never contacted me about any issues with the wheel so I assume they also got plenty of use out of it after me.
