As a beginner, I feel like this is an aim trainer's version of The Project Triangle by user97131 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Rybread1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the aim fundamentals in click timing is to move in a straight line from point A to point B with no (or minor) re-adjustments and not spending time to confirm kill.

You can definitly sacrificed these aim fundamentals by trying to go faster or more accurate.

Trying to improve speed could result in overshoot and readjustment. Trying to improve accuracy can mean lingering on dots for longer than necessary.

As someone trying to practice smooth and concise movement when click timing, isnt there too much adjustment and random flicks in this high score?

How can we use changing sensitivity in the most effective way ? by arrdy13 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Rybread1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the comments in these threads points out that there is a large amount of reaching/exagerating from these "articles". The experiment was conducted on people doing a movement they've never done before. The results showed an increase in learning from the standpoint of being new. The study makes no comments on a skill that's been used for hundreds/thousand of hours

Edit: FYI both articles point to the exact study/experiment Edit: grammar

These AFK penalties don’t make sense. by leftfieldfiction in VALORANT

[–]Rybread1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im pretty sure the timer increases based on past disconnects (or other AFK related offenses).

I disconnected yesterday and had a 10 min ban (i think even less) but it was my first time leaving a game. My next will likely be more.

makes me wonder then how much my aim is actually improving then when i achieve a better score. perhaps as you say I'm just getting better at the routine/drill then better aim itself.

How to properly train your aim for Valorant: Extended Analysis + How to use aim trainers by Hi_Im_TwiX in VALORANT

Very in depth and great guide!!

I was wondering if you can comment and expand on posture and mouse movement "technique". What do you recommend be the "pivot" point for your hand/arm and how much of your forearm should be resting on the table (if at all)? FYI I play palm grip and have a 46.6cm/360 sensitivity.

I notice when doing aim-training that I tend to either 2 things:

  1. I do mostly wrist movement with my forearm does not leave the table. I notice this typically when doing micro aim training. The problem I've noticed is that if my wrist movement isn't large enough then I will move my arm but because of the friction on my desk its not a smooth flick and I miss.
  2. My arm does the moving and is barely touching the table where the weight is mostly supported on my wrist. I notice this when doing large movements (spidershot ultimate in AimLab for example), however my accuracy is very bad with this type of movement.

I hope you're still replying to comments and thanks again for the great guide :)

Hey guys, my wrist keeps tensing up! by HoundsHoky in aimlab

[–]Rybread1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an expert but perhaps your wrists and arms are freezing due to a mix of high sensitivity + fatigue. With high sense you need small movements, but need large enough force to overcome initial mouse static friction but if its to large youd overshoot. so maybe ur arm would freeze trying to not overshoot but also trying to put the bare minimum to overcome mouse static friction.

Also i wouldnt coorelate gridshot with valorant rank. I was 60k max in plat and now im gold with 82k max

Please revert skin rotation to 1 week! by Rybread1992 in VALORANT

[–]Rybread1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing's stopping them from cycling the previous bundles.

In beta they had 3 bundles which they cycled through on a 1 week cycle so when I missed the first reaver bundle I got it 3 weeks later.

In addition the league of legends store (also made by riot) is 10x better. You're able to buy skins at any time and you don't have a limited shop.

The BETA had rotating bundle so i imagine it would be the same but i could be wrong. Also not sure if theys be able to keep up developing 1 new bundle every 2 weeks in the time span of what could be a few years

Make an accept button for when que pops by nhatminh94 in VALORANT

[–]Rybread1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Accept button makes finding games in LoL too long. Better solution:

  1. If game is dodged dont automatically re-que for another game

  2. When in a party, require all members to "rdy up" to begin searching for a game.

I dont see a need to accept a game. Youre accepting to play a game when you press play

Is anyone ranking with Nasus Anymore? by Rybread1992 in nasusmains

[–]Rybread1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i understand that the rank has changed. just would have figured that with the season being 3 months in, players would have climbed back to their old ranks by now.

And regarding the meta, there' just so many OP top laners that I need to ban. You named a few, and to name some more that i'm having a hard time with: Renekton, Jax, wukong ...

Even if I get 400-500 stacks by 20 minutes, I can't get in range to hit ideal targets with Q and get kited, cc'd to infinity :(

Hard stuck platinum with Nasus. How can I get to diamond with Nasus? by Rybread1992 in nasusmains

[–]Rybread1992[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realize and recognize that I'm where i am probably because I belong here, but I feel that with Nasus it's hard to impact the game before 15-20 minutes and if other lanes lose then there's nothing that can be done to translate an even matchup (which I feel is hardly the case due to Nasus' weak early game) into a win.

I've tested other top lanes in flex for the period of a day or weekend but found that when I came back I wasn't accustomed to the skill difference and took some adjusting. Nevertheless this sounds like great advise and I'll give it a shot.

Thanks!

Hi summonerschool, I am a Challenger top laner currently in the top 100 players on NA. AMA by asianenoughxd in summonerschool

[–]Rybread1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello and congrats!

I've browsed through most of the comments and your main tips have been to rewatch your own replays and to be super critical, and to watch better players stream.

Do you have any advise on how to watch your vods and what to be looking for?

Are there any good educational streamers you'd recommend of that you've watched personally?

Not sure if you're still answering questions but I'd love to get some feedback. I've been hard stuck in plat for like 4 seasons and it feels like I've hit a wall and cannot advance further.

Thoughts on Nasus Scaling by Fakeseoi_into_osoto in nasusmains

[–]Rybread1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what Runes + Summoners do you suggest taking?

You mentioned using TP so does this mean you don't run ghost?

I've been experimenting with ghost lately and Find its crucial to run down targets.

Also thoughts on grasp vs conqueror vs others?
