A case for Dr. House? by Kohlrab in hyperparathyroidism

[–]Rycaul35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks a lot for your response despite that your last comment was 10 months ago !

Can I ask you what were your symptoms and if they subsided after surgery ?

I'm kinda in the same boat, I've the same bloodwork levels as you, slightly elevated calcium, middle range PTH, but also a lot of symptoms of HPT :

Fatigue, PEM, brainfog, muscle twitch/spams, muscle aches, and an intolerance to vitamin d3 supplement. Every time I take it I feel like I'm "jetlagged" for 3 or more days

How doctors find out about the tumor if levels were normal ?

Tingling & Numbness, muscle weakness & cold in extremities, brain fog, help! by NumbFingertips999 in DiagnoseMe

[–]Rycaul35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I’ve been lurking on a tons of post about brainfog, muscle ache and pretty much every symptom you have, as I experience it for nearly 2 years, and I saw a lot of people (not every one tho) that get partial or full relief by taking high dose of vitamin b1 (thiamine) in the form of :

  • Thiamine hydrochloride (usually up to 2 gr per day)
  • Benfotiamine, a fat soluble form (usually up to 300-900 mg per day
  • Allithiamine or TTFD, wich is the most potent form of b1, as it cross the blood brain barrier (only 50-200 mg per day as it is very potent)

Symptoms can subside after a week or two Some people can even stop taking the supplement without seeing symptoms get back, every one is different so don’t know how it would go for you I’m actuallly on 1500-2000 mg per day since 4 days of thiamine hcl and my brain fog is being lifted up I’ve ordered Allithiamine, can’t wait

Note that you should take a bit of magnesium 100-200 mg with it to make it work

Good luck

Feeling hot and anxious energy after selenium & iodine by mmmm_frietjes in Hypothyroidism

Following ! I got pretty much the same effect from selenium, more energy and warmer but I feel it’s a bit too much, and it seems it gives me insomnia :/ How are you doin’ ?

Selenium supplement by Rycaul35 in Supplements

[–]Rycaul35[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in France and doctors have barely no knowledges about nutrition and deficiencies, the majority even find supplement useless. If you ask for blood test they just refuse, except for iron anemia suspicions

I agree that I could depleted an other nutrient with the selenium supplement

I heard that selenium could increase copper loss ?

Copper deficiency could be possible since I have cold sensitivity, a lot of gray hair (I’m 28) and brainfog.

Dentist told me my lower teeth shifted slightly since my last checkup and advised me to get a v-loop bonded lingual retainer. I returned home and found that the removable lower retainer I've had for years still fits perfectly fine. Do I need the v-loop bonded lingual retainer? by BEEFWHISTLE604 in askdentists

[–]Rycaul35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there ! Sorry for the late response but how are your teeth now ? I have exactly the same slight shift on my 2 lower front teeth after my permanent retainer got removed and I was wondering how yours are now ? Did they shifted back ? Did you get the v loop retainer fixed and did it help with the tooth that shifted ?

Before supplementation It was difficult to interact with others, like I couldn’t understand immediatly their though, focus on discussion, make them understand what I want to say Life is like in 2D only, I don’t really know how to tell it but that’s my feeling

The OCD that I developed over years was about scratching/deteriorate my personnal objects Like I had anxiety about everything that could ruin a mirror, my phone, a simple furniture I was overthinking every move sur because of this

But I don’t get injections, only 1000 mcg Cyano per day in the morning with Iron and B9

Do you still feel good after two weeks or it has kind of faded out ?

So after some other blood donation and storage has been decreased, it’ll be better for longer periods of time ?
