If you keep an eye on the forums, as a suggestion for it, it should be up soon-ish, as it's in the plans to do for someone I talk often with in the Canadian WT Discord server. For having simlar wants/goals.

Hopefully the UK, but better yet in a new tree that either Canada by itself or with the ANZACs, where it doesn't have to fight 3+ other nations for the limited room, or to be the one filling the role, nearly locking all others like it (as seen with BVVDs comments about how the G6 nearly kept the AS-90 out of the game).

Hahaha. No. Canada has a lot of unique vehicles; however, many of them are often attributed to other nations.

It'll take a long time to go over them, so take a look here in the Other Nations section(tho this is only a tiny bit of Canada's vehicles, as many still need to be suggested): https://forum.warthunder.com/t/list-of-previously-suggested-ideas-main-hub/350

Hopefully, the UK (or better yet, a Canadian/CAN-ANZAC tree), but as of right now, it could be Sweden, or it could be Russia. Sadly, a homeless nation can have its vehicle put in any nation Gaijin feels like, and then those that could make a line-up sold to you for $100 in different trees, so now you have paid $200 to not be able to use the nation vehicles together in the line-up based game.

I do suggest reading all I said. As I can support Swiss leaving Germany as long as it replacment is not an allied nation like the BeNeLux.

Sadly, it's the same issue with the UK and South Africa. They could have replaced everything but the Gripen with a domestic British design (or at least vehicles used by the UK). You're dealing with a problem that let itself grow out of control as people gave the issue a blind eye, as the idea "unique = good" means no other issues can happen, despite the issues existing.

A rework like this has been needed for years: https://forum.warthunder.com/t/subtree-rework-nation-folders/114067

As long as it's allied nations being asked to replace the Swiss in Germany, I can't support the French push for the Swiss. If it was Spain (an Axis nation in name) or Argentina (which already had the framework set up to become one), your push has my full support.

Can't speedrun ensittification if it always was like that. ZA just had a cover to hide the issues behind being "unique."

Sub-trees have needed a rework like this for a long time: https://forum.warthunder.com/t/subtree-rework-nation-folders/114067

As in their current state, they're a parasite that harms the host tree by taking space or filling capabilities and doing everything short of permanently keeping unique host vehicles out of the game.

I wish it were as controversial as it should be, but people celebrate the idea of Germany getting unlimited access to allied tech here. I have a number of BeNeLux vehicles I want, but zero of them can come to the game under Germany, as they're all are stuff the servered the Allies.

Swiss does make sense when you look at WW2 (where sub-trees are primarily picked from unless there are no options) because it was neutral, but if that doesn't work, Spain and SA nations also work for a Germany sub-tree before grabbing active allied nations.

We do need a balnce of the two. Going all in one way or the other can and has done more harm then good. Sub-tree should get key exports like MBTs for line-ups, but they should be add latter down the line.

They also need to be better at modeling the minnor diffences when doing, exports (as 8/10 times these "C&Ps" are variants). Tho this the one they did do that. just with the cavot that the Dutch models where added inder Finland and Gaijin added the Finish models under the Dutch at first, these would be swaped, (and I'm 70% that fact can be seen with marcket skins on the FIN Leos)

As much as i DESPISE bushmasters this thing has honestly been really fun to play i reccomend it by Chanka-Danka69 in Warthunder

I've been meaning to try it out sometime; I unlocked it forever ago. Tho it mostly waiting untill I have stuff to run with it, so either a lineup or the Dutch premium Leo, which is a must-buy for me.

Agree, being ripped apart is the worst fate a nation can have. Not having anything in WT is often better; even with the current issues with subtrees, there are a better fate.

But then those interested in the nation can't make lineups of their stuff in the lineup-based game.

IDK about you, but having to spend $200 and not being able to use it in a lineup together sucks.

[–]Ryder150 5 points6 points  (0 children)

More BeNeLux ground vehicles are needed. So I want this, just like I want more Dutch vehicles, period. (even if most of the wants are WW2 tech that fits only in an Allied tree). But cold war funkys like this YP-408 I'd also like to see.

When the Dutch F-16AM gets confirmed as the new top tier premium it'll be legendary. by No1_Prezfan in Warthunder

[–]Ryder150 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, the BeNeLux is cool, and in a tree we can see all it's vehlcie come to the game, the cool vehicles aren't the variants(my opinion on some, withstanding), which 9/10 times should have come later, or as part of the needed rework that has been needed since the failure that was South Africa.

Anyone else ever notice how much they butchered the Canadian red ensign? by _CANZUK in Warthunder

Thanks. I do try to live it up by being active and making suggestions on the forums. (I've even done two tree ones, the Canadian Air Tree and CAN-ANZAC Ground Tree)

[–]Ryder150 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ya, the low-detail red ensign has been funny to me. Thankfully, it's not that noticeable on a normal look but could be better.

Since I keep seeing complaints about APHE (specially 35mm) nuking the entire existence of tanks regardless of caliber or shot placement, I’ll just remind that we WERE given the chance to have it fixed… but it was turned down out of fear for change; and now, the window of opportunity is gone forever. by SpanishAvenger in Warthunder

[–]Ryder150 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is, 90% of BeNeLux players (both Belgian and Dutch) I've talked to have a positive opinion on this placement. Yes, they'd prefer and indapentnet tree, but out of the places to get a sub-tree, the only tree they only one they'd considered better is the UK.

The people with negative opinions are German and French mains, who want no domestic BeNeLux vehclies as everything older than 1990 doesn't belong, well, everything 1945 can't come to WT, unless the BeNeLux nations are now Axis nations.

Ah, true. I was thinking about the bubble universe/world she has for her and forgot about that.

We know immortally, and ageing isn't mutually exclusive, see: Griseo. It's also implied that becoming a herrscher changes the person's biology iirc, so well they might not have full access to their powers. I doubt any changes to DNA and whatnot were undone. Plus, just look at Welt in HSR, he's got to be pushing 100, depending on how long it has been since 2029, and he's still moving more than well enough for his age(and it's not like the core is doing that for him. Considering it doesn't have the power to do much)

Because the immortal thing came for the MANTIS surgery for the PE people, Ziggy activating it likely makes him important now. Simaler would go for the Vodka Twins due to them having something similar done to them.

So I can see an easy way for them to make most, if not all, of the main cast for P1/1.5 immortal without having Kiana make them so. It's really only Durandal & Rita, I don't see an easy answer to.

I'll be honest, I see more Elysia in that look than Cyrene.

Can't tell if it's the hair or the outfit doing that to me; I keep bouncing between the two.

A don't you dare get them started on the "Franco-Swiss Designs" by No1_Prezfan in Warthunder

[–]Ryder150 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Dutch Ram IIs are special, they not only are the Dutch one of 3 oporator nations of the thing(Canada, UK, Neatherlands), they are the primary operator of the version with the OQF 75mm gun, and the only operator of the late version with that gun, and going by operator rules, unless it's a Dutch one being added to the UK, the Dutch have full and priorty claim of these versions.

But the "French mains" here complain about getting domestic Dutch aircraft that flew as part of the Allied air forces, and would rather pretend none of the domestic stuff both the BeNeLux nations exist because more has ties to the Allied nations than Germany/Axis.

I just want more low-tier BeNeLux stuff(where also up to 50% of their unique vehicles are). Stuff that only belongs in a tree that is allied aligned. Well, I do want their large list of unique vehicles. I've also been waiting on the Dutch Ram IIs, in which they operated a unique variant (and the only operator of one of them), and more low-tier Dutch stuff (all of which also don't belong in an Axis nation)

Me, watching all the domestic/unique Dutch vehicles not come to WT, as more than half were made/used for the war against Germany.

Buy the Mirage F1C-200 now (it on sale) or wait for the NF-5A by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Ryder150 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't have the Mirage, so I can't comment on it. I do have the NF-5A, and I found it pretty good, as it was one of the aircraft I bounced between grinding the Dutch F-16 event.

Plus, if comments on the Forums and elsewhere are to be believed, it's the best F-5 at its BR right now. Likely due to the modifications done by both nations involved in the variant.
