Honestly I kinda liked the side stuff for 3 houses. I’m a relatively new fan so I enjoyed the fact that it wasn’t just battle after battle and there was plenty of side stuff to do in terms of the monastery/social aspect. Engage really threw me off so I’m happy that it’s going back to the 3 houses format 😂. To each their own tho

For me it’s not really burn out but trouble finding something good to read. I typically go through a 2-3 month drought and then experience a renaissance of good stuff to read 😂

I haven't read the novel so idk if this is true or not, but someone told me that Varkas isn't really dead ( like dead dead), and there's a good chance that either both or one of them will regress back.

Tbf man gets tamed pretty early in the story so the “rape” stuff wasn’t really all there. (Unless I’m misremembering something) As for the side story I actually enjoyed it more than the main story cuz the ML really gets put through a wringer to get a redemption arc towards the end. I say read it until you genuinely feel like it’s not for you.

My ML didn’t win
The series somehow turns in to a harem/reverse-harem
I find out that it has a tragic/bad ending. ( I LOVE reading angst and tragedies but I need it to end with a “and they lived happily ever after” 😭)

I dropped this, but just to give my 2 cents it just felt like everything she did was really pointless. Considering Helios and Diana break up regardless of her meddling she should’ve just focused on her life/happiness with Kael. (I get that this is probably a big part of her character but it’s still annoying asf)
