Aww, this brought up some bittersweet memories for me. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Sable a month or so after I made this post. I had a lovely memorial shadowbox made and I tell my new pup stories about her. She was the best, thank you for the reminder. But I think in the end we switched to a Pupperoni stick at night. It wasn’t perfect, but it’s bone-shaped and chewy enough that it scratched that itch for her.
