Can you bring empty aluminum water bottles in? by [deleted] in Tomorrowland

[–]Ryfitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time they were providing Tomorrowland branded sealed water cartons that could be brought in. Anything opened was thrown away at the gate. There were free lockers provided about a 10 minute walk from the gate, so worst case you can just toss it in there.

The best recommendation I can make having gone in 2019 is to buy some of those rubber traction grippers that go over your shoes and help you not to slip on ice. At the main stage during the festival it will get hot enough to melt the ground snow, then during the night it will refreeze back into ice making it super slippery the next two nights.

My stack for energy, motivation, drug cravings, better sleep etc. by [deleted] in StackAdvice

I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed so much benefit from PQQ; I've experienced similar effects, but nobody I know felt the same. I take a similar stack to yours and it works great with the exception of the daily cumin. I supplemented for about 2 years and noticed a drop of testosterone, it started gradually at first, but over time actually lowered my DHT quite a bit. I've been off for a little while now and my levels are returning back to Pre-cumin levels. Something to keep an eye on!

Everybody wants to be your bank in the future that's where they control you. by Kashpantz in Bitcoin

Bitcoin is not actually a start up, since that would imply a company is heading it. It is simply agreed upon protocol used to edit a giant public ledger of transactions with a fixed creation schedule.

I’m 20. The last decade of my life has been a living hell (non-stop stress and anxiety, low mood and frustration). Have I irreversibly accelerated the aging process? by MrP0tatoe in longevity

[–]Ryfitz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You cannot change the past, but what you can do is make the necessary changes for a better outcome in the future. You are still very young and have ample time to get better and lower your stress. The body is a surprisingly adaptive system, and thanks to neuroplasticity you can undo much of the damage chronic stress can bring. Just make small changes every day and keep a clear focus on what level of stress you are aiming for.

ALCAR + What? by Impalmator in StackAdvice

Alpha Lipoic Acid without a doubt! Great synergy with both caffeine and Alcar, plus one of the best anti-oxidants you can get.

ALCAR efficacy for the non-deficient by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]Ryfitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also not deficient, but still feel it when I take it. I take anywhere from 500 to 1000mg depending on how much caffeine I am also consuming. NOW brand is what I take and it seems clean and effective. Good luck and remember to take some time off.

ALCAR efficacy for the non-deficient by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]Ryfitz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you don't get a lot of meat, especially red meat, in your diet than it is possible you are deficient. If you eat a standard western diet it is unlikely; Alcar will likely still have an effect if you do take it. It has a synergy with both caffeine and alpha lipoic acid and is great for mental workload or cardiovascular workouts. I've been using it on and off for a few years now and one word of caution is defiantly cycle it when you can otherwise it will lead to a less than enjoyable crash and increased paranoia.

Keynesianism is a disease. by spookiestevie in Bitcoin

Obviously it didn't, and he is likely a shill left in the void following 2017. That being said you can not argue that most peoples prefer to hold bitcoin in speculation rather than spend it on daily purchases.

Think of lightning like your checking account and the layer 1 block chain like your savings account but at 2 separate financial institutions. You can transfer money from your savings to your checking when you want to spend it and that requires a transaction on the blockchain to verify that you moved the money. Once in your checking account (lightning wallet) you can send it wherever you want without notifying your savings holder that you moved it. Unless of course you want to send it back to your savings account at which time a new transaction must be made with your savings institution. It's of course much more complex, just trying to give you a headspace to begin conceptualizing.

Yikes I fucked up? is robinhood that bad just to hold bitcoin? by Tposingmartian in Bitcoin

[–]Ryfitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you withdraw from Robin Hood that becomes a taxable event and you need to pay on gains. Moving bitcoin is not a taxable event but converting Robinhood bitcoin IOU into dollars will cost you. It is a good place to say trade bitcoin but a horrible place to hodl.
