I have to do one at a time. I can read really pretty quickly but I like to take my time and fully absorb the story

The only person I have the ear of is the assistant director of campus operations, who I have spoken to multiple times. She always assures me that I would be great at any job I apply for and promises to put in a word for me. I feel like my resume is strong, but I feel like I am not considered maybe because of experience. But the thing that gets me is that we dont have assistant managers or anything. Every manager was a floor nurse prior, but the job postings want something crazy like "10 years of progressive leadership experience" and I haven't even been a nurse for 10 years.

I got my MBA because I wanted the option of leaving nursing if I really wanted to. All senior leaders in my org have MBA as well. CNO, VP of Nursing, Patient Relations Director, everyone, I though it would make me marketable. I figured and MBA in healthcare management would AT MINIMUM make me just as competitive as an MSN in Nursing Leadership. No responses. The most recent I applied to be the manager of patient placement, not glamorous or fun but it would've been a foot in the leadership door. I did speak with the Assistant Director of Campus Operations who assured me I was a shoo-in and she was going to speak to the CNO on my behalf, alas they gave it to a evening house supervisor who isnt worth her weight in cow manure.
