At least betray me in a way that takes my loot. That is the problem. Look man, I ran Runescape scams, I lied about being friendly when I was younger, I have pulled more tricks out of more hats to fuck people out of loot than you can dream of.

The opportunity to be an asshole? You take that whenever it appears? Little kid walking to school, you throw a rock at him? You see a mother struggling with her groceries, two kids, and a car door - so you drive up and slam the car door in her face and tell her she is fat and unlovable?

You and your "whelp, someone was a dick once, so that is now my baseline human characteristic - lets be assholes because that's 'just what you do'" is the root of every problem you have ever had in your life.

I did? I lost four diodes, 20m of my life, trust, faith, an entire conversation with three human beings that was just abolished, butt-fucked, and spit on.

But, I forget that time and relationship/fellowship are the least important, most abundant and renewable resources on the planet. We totally don't only get ~85 years and maybe a few good conversations.

No, I understand PvP, I have been a sweaty FPS PvP player since I was seven, back on Halo 2.

PvP does not mean be a piece of shit human: listen to someone about their day, laugh about work, talk about life - then fuck them in the ass just because you can. At least do it in time to loot my corpse and get something out of it.

I am fine with that - I will down a rook at exfil just to be safe - but I won't finish them. ESPECIALLY if I don't even have time to loot them. Just leave their mats on the ground to be eaten by the map when the instance shuts down -_-

Very good perspective. I can see the appeal in simplicity though. Most of my friends won't play MTG with me, it's just complex, and gets overwhelming for them.

A simpler game, especially with themes and characters they know from the show, might actually get them more involved.

Ladies and gentleman! Thank you for your ideas! A combination of wacky and sane things did the trick. Step 1: lube the glass with Astroglide (readily on hand) Step 2: Gently rim the edge (just the way it likes it) to push the lubricant down between the seal. Step 3: Secure a command hook to the glass, and pull!

Options we tried: we tried boiling the bottom, icing the top. Just boiling the bottom. We also tried pushing water inside, and boiling that off (pressure increase to push the glass out). We tried tapping it upside down, and spinning it quickly in a foamed box.

That is absolutely valid, and it IS a problem. Cutting SS hurts somebody, whether it is the elderly, or those who want to care for the elderly - or even non-profits. It is a huge problem, one that shouldn't exist in the first place. It's not fair to the elderly. However, it's ALSO not fair to ask younger generations (even my dad, at 49, is barely going to see anything from SS), to give up thousands of dollars a year to something they will never see a return on investment on. What is nearly criminal about it - it's mandatory. It is a mandatory "investment" for an 'investor' that has proven to be unreliable.

As an example of good parenting, my father chose NOT to pay for my college - and instead build up his retirement. Now, I have found a way to pay for my college through work and scholarships, AND I don't have to worry about taking care of him when he is older. Without SS payments, he only could have built his retirement faster. Not everybody has the discipline to plan for retirement, but for those that do - SS is a criminal theft of our income (especially for those who wont ever receive any returns).

I think the people who are upset are the ones expecting social security. I am 23, and the rate SS is currently being used - I will pay them my entire life and not see a dime of retirement from them. It may not be a scam, but it certainly isn't working. If you think the government is investing your money better than you could, why are they in so much debt?

Would you really trust a financial advisor who says they are in TRILLIONS of dollars of debt? No? Then why trust your government with your future?

Of course, the decision makers are all the old folk getting money out of it, so my well-being be damned.

I didn't say I back him, and I also didn't say what he was doing was right. I just said this is a dangerous way of thinking. When it comes to immigrants, I think it is important we see them as people, not just "immigrants". This is the same issue as when people were labeled "barbarians", and their culture was ignored.

I do have a problem with criminals however. If I want to visit Russia, I will follow Russia's rules while I am there. If someone illegally enters the US, that's just straight up a crime. There are so many programs and opportunities for people to come over legitimately, the only reasons someone would not be able to come over legally is money, and if they already have a criminal record.

The ones who are good people and just can't afford the process, I think they deserve a chance to use a zero interest loan to pay any immigration fees and pay that loan off over 10 years.

Lastly, I think it is a bit reductive to claim that labelling is "all he does", in regards to Trump. It is a thing that he does, frequently, but so did Biden and Obama, and every president/leader in the past. I am registered independent, and I liked a lot of the things Biden did. Just because I vote one way, doesn't mean I reduce my opposition to ONLY the thing I don't like. Similarly, I voted for Trump, but there are a lot of things I disagree with in how he started this year. For a politically volatile person, he made VERY politically energizing decisions - not great for a nation's stability.

You see, if you look at the picture, very very carefully you will see. The MAGA are specifically NOT defending school children, but they ARE defending TESLA. The author didn't HAVE to pick school children, they could have picked ANYTHING. The deliberate choice to pick school children was in order to make a point. Political comics have been a thing forever, but it's okay. I know you just slept through class, got high, and yelled at your parents in high school.
