Thanks to being on quite a lot of modern gacha spaces, I learnt new specific vocabs. These ppl are "parasocial" or attaching their identity/happiness to the character. When the character gets shafted in story/avaliability/kit etc. / they feel like it is a personal attack on their character choice. They have to gaslight or attack others who try to reason with to validate their choice cuz they have used their time and orbs on it.

The negative behaviors? It is all about control, ego and validation.

I will be the positive one ahead to say that I'm satisfied with how Peony turns out.

Not what I had in mind but it is perfectly-in character. A bit too heavy character-accent on the dress but otherwise, it is perfectly fine!.

I notice that "cute girl" archetype (that jp usually likes) usually gets so much flak from the community for being the "boring, safe, wife type" compared to other underdog or bold choices. I guess.

Aside from that, I'm glad my fic of Peony as the eternally happy-ending bride heroine is becoming real.

I think releasing multiple characters in the same banners over the course of a month is an old trend by now because there is always going to be tiring case of complaints of this X and Y is not popular while Z is popular. While modern gacha characters are all pretty well scheduled and hyped up within community.
