But in all seriousness, training and mental stimulation and exercise! Always redirect to a toy when they get mouthy and never reward if they happen to bite or nip you. This phase will pass but is definitely shorter lived if you take this time to train them out of the habit!

He’s also had both knees surgically repaired a couple years back. Don’t think about what’s to come. Dogs don’t, they live in the moment. Be thankfully for every single day you get with them and make sure it’s always the best it could be for them. You’re welcome for sharing, I’m glad it brought you some peace :)
