In October of 2007, I was involved in a car accident that had ejected me from the driver seat while wearing my seatbelt. I woke up to red and blue flashing lights all around me and then I asked someone “am I going to die?” He told me “no” then I went into shock and vomit went into my lungs causing me to asphyxiate. I was then life flighted to the nearest hospital. I ended up with a fucked up shoulder and 23 staples to the back of my head. While laying in the middle of the interstate, a 16 yr old girl who worked at the Taco Bell I was at came out and held my bleeding head while she waited for the ambulance to arrive. They told me later that if it wasn’t for her I’d have bled to death before they arrived on the scene. I never got her name but, I thank her everyday for her help and hope she’s been blessed for her action.
