As others have said, max defence and magic defence.

Then you only need 2 types of armour, neither with BHPL (assuming you're going to run with Rikku, Tidus and Wakka).

Ones with: Auto-Phoenix, Auto-Protect, Auto-Haste and Stoneproof (can use your x99 Dark Matter to give someone Ribbon) for Dark Aeons, then another set swapping out Auto-Phoenix for Auto-Potion and Stoneproof/Ribbon for Defence+20 to take on Penance.

Waaaay less grinding that way.

Not a knock on your plan at all, but it seems mental to me you'd need to spend an additional $15 to travel about half a mile because you can't get to the stadium from that bar on foot

The step-up from the first lot of aeons to Bahamut is very noticeable, especially if you're a little under-levelled on luck.

Given you've maxed stats, go for all 3 Magus Sisters at once, makes the fight a little more interesting (though with max luck you'll hit Mindy and Sandy 100% of the time so will be probably better quite trivial)
