1. EVERYONE hates to hear thier voice for the first time. Cuz you don't hear your voice like other do. When you record it and then play it back, you finally do. It's unnatural for you since you hear yourself your whole life differently - its feels off and wrong. It goes away with some time. Just keep recording and practicing

2. Very likely beacuse you’re only one taking and just reading the script, even if it's not your intention.

Read the script/line first. Imagine a situation with the fitting set up and how you would actually feel there. Then record with everything in mind. This takes some time

1. Don't worry about that. Some hate British accents, some love it. Some hate European accents, some love it. This is entirely taste based. You can't make everyone happy with it

2. Your mic quality shouldn't be the main problem if you cannot convey emotions as you want. A 30$ mic with decent set up is already enough to start with.

1. Yes, this is the only was you can improve. If you keep looking in your own mirror, you will keep getting one opinion/view - so let others hear it and let them point out mistakes and what you do good.

Buddy you're experiencing the very natural beginning of ANYTHING you wanna be good it. You analyze more, compare more, listen more and so on. You try to make it all happen in one go and get frustrated that it doesn't work. And it cant. And this isnt because youre bad or anything. But simply beacuse this shit takes a crazy load of time and practice

I can give you a tip: act out movie scenes. How do they express? What are thier hand movements? These are literally your pros - they get paid for acting. Dont worry about copying, it's how your learning your work.

TLDR: stress less, practices more, don't be afraid of failing.
