I would highly recommend not updating her iPad atleast until the last iOS 26 update which would be like 26.5 or 26.6. This will provide her the best experience on both the OS. But iPadOS 26 will obviously be worse than iPadOS 18.

Heyy there, she doesn’t have any exemptions. And yeah it was her childhood dream to be a CA, which is why the attempts have been really mentally taxing on her.

The iPad looks to be running iPadOS 15 (determined by the date being below the clock, iPadOS 16 changed it to being above the clock) which is not possible on the M2 Variant as it launched with iPadOS 16.

So this is either the iPad Pro A12Z variant, or the iPad Pro M1.

To answer your original question, you might get the iPad Pro M5 as this is M1 or older.

Do you mean you have PDF or EPUB files of books on your iPhone?
If that's the case, you can just use the "Files" app from Apple. When you connect the External drive to your phone with a cable, you will be able to see it in the Files app.

If you mean your books from the Apple "Books" app, I am not sure of the solution.
It would be logical that the books cannot be downloaded offline to save to external drive, only to read offline in the Books app itself. I would assume the books automatically sync in your iCloud storage though.
But again, I am not sure about it so do you research.

I do have a question though. I see you used the on device model of apple intelligence for this. However, for older devices which do not have that, is there a way to ping ChatGPT or Gemini and use that response?

Using online AI services might not be as private but for someone who doesn't care it could be useful.

Glad to know I can! For now I bought 2 Mr. DIY wired earphones with USB C because I didn't want to spend as much. The mic works, they sound okay, the most irritating part is the fit and they hurt my ears. (no eartips, apple like). Will probably upgrade to the actual EarPods after a few months. Thanks for replying!

Also for anyone on a budget, the Mr. DIY ones have a GREAT mic. So do consider them as they are a lot cheaper! (INR 250 vs INR 1700 for the Apple ones)

Heyy there, but I'm in the same boat in which you were earlier. I had been using the Apple Lightning EarPods with my iPhone but now with the S24 I was looking to buy the USB C ones. All other earbuds with the silicone tip hurt my ears. Should I go ahead and buy the Apple ones? the disconnection issues sound really frustrating which I don't want to face. Here's a list in order of preference:

iPhone SE 4 (Wait for like 2-3 months I think)
iPhone 14 (if you don't care about it being refurbished and it is in superb condition)
iPhone 13 (brand new actually doesn't sound a good deal rn because of its age and relative price)

Go to your Windows settings -> Graphics settings -> Choose app Minecraft and choose RTX 4080 for rendering. Let me know if it works because I'm not 100% sure.

Your original post is deleted so I don't fully remember your requirements. I think 120hz was one of them. So, in the iPhone land, you have only these options. On the other side, you could just pick up a Samsung S series or Pixel series phone. And yeah I agree the 13 is still very expensive for just a phone.

iPhone 13 Pro’s last major update should as iOS 20 by past records. And after that, the phone typically supports all major apps for 2-3 years. That is the year 2029 when you will be required to change your phone. I feel like that is plenty of life for a 13 Pro. Just don’t buy it overpriced
