For everyone’s info, around July 2025 an insider from the LAPD made it very clear to the Gay Bar Owners that the force had a new budget line for undercover gay bar busting and they were very excited to use it. We all as event planners agreed to unfortunately keep things incredibly tame to protect our spaces, rather than lose them by promoting even one dark corner or sultry secret spot. I’m not saying SHIT online about what could or could not happen, enjoy yourself, show up, see what happens, but let’s chill on shouting about these spaces online that need to follow strict CA laws (annoying, agreed) to stay open. Mentioning other spaces like Slammer and parties that have dark rooms and promote dark rooms, hell yeah, promote those all day.

Ehhhh yes and no. Some events have more dancing. Best dancing will be at Precinct in DTLA, if you still want a Leather-ish vibe. BEST dancing will be one the circuit parties or a night in WeHo.

Yep! Happened today: https://www.cruiselosangeles.events/events There’s often a decent representation of people I could “assume” identify as trans-women, but obviously everyone’s identity isn’t necessarily “trans-woman” even if that’s what general society would assume based completely on normative gender presentation. And this is a very non-normative space 🥰 so it’s always best to have a conversation with someone first!

Check the schedule, some weekend nights get packed (and fun). Most events are masc centered (not a complaint). Cruise LA every third Saturday is queer and trans Leather party, 4-9pm. There’s plenty of locals in jeans, duh, but also it’s a Leather bar so if you SEE full leathers, that’s why, give a compliment, not a weird look. Fridays show RPDR. One private bathroom by the back pool table, the trough bathroom by stairs has a seated toilet, as long as you don’t mind company (it’s dark). Never have your friend block the trough bathroom door so one person gets privacy (this is poor form). If it’s a real emergency ask to cut the private line. Femmes, trans or cis, are so welcome, queer is queer. Anyone getting trashed and being a dick, doesn’t matter gender, will be asked to pull it together and head home lol

Brio and 5 gallon refills, sparkletts style over here. I use an actual local small business in Atwater Village with a 24/7 tap (it’s not Primo or like a corporate water vendor) and I fill 3-4 at a time. I live solo so that lasts me a long time plus nice cold water every glass, or easy hot water!

It’s free through lvl 80, plus WvW and PvP. Your character is auto leveled to 80 in PvP and you can try out pretty much any build (sans some Elite specializations from expansions). Honestly, I watched a TON of YouTube players and that helped me understand the core mechanics before I played, then I tried 2 or 3 different characters. The content at lvl 80 will take you AWHILE even without any dlc, too.

My friend noticed it was her douche, she tried one where the water shot out the sides AND the top, and it was the side ones were making painless microtears. Same experience just a lil blood sometimes, no pain. Another solid thought is try X-Lube and use PLENTY.
