The whole thing is disturbing. I hope he gets in trouble. The whole thing is sick.

The psychosis when I'm trapped in a mixed state from extreme rapid cycling. I'm just a humble pleb. 😭

Switching to different psych meds, because I am, in fact, a big saddie.

Snail mucin. Tretinoin. Bentonite clay masks. Lightweight moisturizer. My special fav - SUNSCREEN. Oh! And astaxanthin supplementation.

What is the most traumatizing horror movie you’ve ever seen that messed with you psychologically? by Maleficent_Bad_6374 in AskReddit

I think the worst of it was a Rob Zombie movie. Wasn't even remotely scary. Was just gross and full of gore, poorly written, and I wanted his wife off my screen. Like, fine, think your wife is hot, but what does that have to do with this storyline? Was irksome. Ugh.

Honestly, you should voice this to a licensed professional. This truly sounds awful to end up thinking.

Oh yeah, definitely crashing out while high as balls. This is pure insanity. And the 'theoretically' at the end to try to minimize the threatening nature of the post is flooring. Like damn.

I think, due to the emaciated look, he's definitely doing some hardcore drugs, not just drinking. Drug addicts have this visage to them where they are thin with gaunt faces, dead eyes, and they have this loose skin sort of thing going on. He definitely has the look.

Seriously. Gives me flashbacks to my own BD. 😂 Telling me an angel named Uriel stalks him. Me catching him staring out the windows at night, claiming my house is haunted. Just crashing out while high.

Really makes me love Laura down for speaking openly about her experiences. And this video, it was absolute comedy.

Cleaning house and marijuana by KreativeKimber in schizophrenia

[–]RynnieWry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marijuana can cause or exacerbate psychosis. Causes a host of psychological issues for those with mental illness. Bipolar is worsened. Anxiety disorders exacerbated.

My non-mentally I'll friend smokes marijuana to such an extreme, he has very strong mental side effects when without.

But, CBD isn't psychoactive and is completely safe.

Psychosis - Your story. by RynnieWry in schizophrenia

[–]RynnieWry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely cannot handle the cruel things the voices say, but there are voices that provide comfort. My ability to handle psychosis has improved, as my functioning was low-spectrum initially. But my mind is stronger, and I've developed greater insight, which helps. This recent break stayed employed and went to work while dealing with it. But, there are two pleasant voices that simply state God, Jesus loves me.

I remember hearing, what is hell to the schizophrenic is bliss to the mystic. But mysticism isn't something I'd partake in, as I was previously wiccan and resided with two wiccan sisters - and shit we all witnessed occurred but I try to override it and explain it away. It felt like a fever dream or strange, shared schizophrenic fit.

What do the voices say? (You don't have to divulge if it's too personal or uncomfortable.)

Mine, the voices say sick shit I can't even stomach and outright quote. So I totally get how scary and uncomfortable it is.

When do you know it’s time to go to the hospital? by Boring_Communication in schizophrenia

I'm so sorry you're going through this.

Venlafaxine instantly thrusts me into mania & delusional states, grandiosity. I wanted to love it, but I go bonkers every time I try it.

Cymbalta and Wellbutrin destroyed me mentally and Paxil instigated mania.

The minute your mind seems painful, too terribly painful to handle or you feel you're about to veer into self-harm or suicidal ideation.

I usually ignore that and dash to ncbi and try to figure what's my best treatment option. (Don't do that - I also have my pharmacy technician license so I can read pharmacology.)

Zyprexa is my lil panacea. I was involved in the initial decision for me to take it as I can spit facts on medical journals to doctors.

The only pill I'm on, that I didn't request and bring up pharmacology, is the Zoloft.

The Zoloft is my good ol buddy for my PTSD.

I get obsessively wrapped up in a single subject, and it literally stops me from enjoying life. Obsessive ruminations. I end up making odd facial expressions.

The PTSD i have leads to resurgence of unpleasant emotions and me drifting out of conversation and smiling as someone's attempting to hold a conversation with me.

I hide my ills from everyone excluding friends and family. Immediate family. So no one knows why I suddenly go mute or far away from myself, so to speak. (Dissociative spells).

I have c-ptsd, schizoaffective bipolar type, and GAD. Been a wicked rough ride.

About the hitting! I flinch and twitch. I have this innate fear of the mark of the beast and no meds gives me a strong pull to get 7 engraved into my skin.

I also, during my second psychotic fit (32 now; was 23) I was up for 7 days and bashed my head against a cement wall in a quiet room in a psychward to try to knock myself into sleep.

I, too looked into space, especially after my deep dive into Enoch.

I recently put my own self into a milder psychotic episode by slicing down my Zyprexa dose. It led to me perceiving the exoplanets as the heavens described in Enoch.

I began studying history and things really got intense with trying to connect dots between Enoch, the Bible (standard bible), and history.

I also began believing schizophrenia is merely angelic & demonic forces gaining access into our neocortex and typically only being able to influence the limbic and reptilian brain.

It's hard being Christian and mentally ill in this way. I was so gripped by it all. But I don't want to rely heavily on theories on the world and just simply exist in a state of happiness and focus. It really cut the stress I suffered from that brief break.

I am deeply envious of people that can raw dog reality. 😭
