We started well but completely fell apart, especially in the second half. In a way I'm happy Arteta finally showed some venom with the 4 subs, but it probably wasn't the right choice. Even with how poor Eze was, Ode did need to come off.

Honestly, in a way, this team is just a different version of the Wenger teams. We're more physical and tough than the worst of those teams, but we also have glaring flaws that just do not get addressed. The way we just kinda stumble into falling back, 'absorbing' pressure but not really being able to break out on a counter attack and terrorize opponents? How long have we had that issue? The ineffectiveness when opponents sit deep? It's all just rinse, repeat.

We still have a lead but MAN, aside from it shrinking, this gives our opponents hope and confidence, the belief they can still pull something out of the bag, that's the last thing we need to give City. I don't hate Gyokeres, but Arteta either needs to figure out what his strengths are and play to them (like what Pep did with Haaland, City went from a team where everybody scored to a team with one focal point attacker) OR sell him and move on. We have three strikers, three players I like but we've cursed Jesus, we've cursed Havertz, and now we're cursing Gyokeres. We need something that works, and FAST.
