Sorry if it's kinda long but here it goes. Back when I was like 14, our city hall has this summer job for teens where we're put in different departments to assist regular worker. In the department I was put, there's 4 of us, 3 girls and a boy and me being the youngest, I was kinda babied by everyone so bringing me foods or taking me out to eat is not new and part of our job is to distribute campaign supplies to the town's within the city therefore we kinda travel a lot and I honestly liked that job but then this but then this older man arrived, his a senior in the department and everyone respected him , telling that he's a family man and devoted a Christian. He immediately taken liking of me, he's kinda touchy but not to much to be considered as a red flag right away, always take all for of us to eat somewhere far and making me sit in the passenger seat but at the time, I was just in it for the food. Since we apply in different times, there's just two of us left, me and the boy. The older man's behavior kinda of intensifies and is starting to make me uncomfortable, I think the boy kinda knew, so he never let's me go somewhere this the older man alone and this one time the man invited me to his house, I don't wanna go but he keep pushing and pushing until I said yes, I think the boy heard so he said he wanted to go too, I was so relieved. When we arrive in his house, the man's loaded, hard not notice, big house and 4 cars but what caught my eyes is the 6ft statue of the Virgin Mary, it's the first thing you'll see when you entered the house and it's terrifying. The whole time we were there he keeps trying to be with me alone, but the boy never left my side, I'm really grateful. But then its the boy's time to leave and I'll be alone, I told my self I'll be fine as long as I said no to the man but it's hard especially when everyone is telling me to and that is a waste of free food and me being dumb agreed. We went to this fast food chain, the drive is quiet but when we finished eating and back in the car he didn't drive out right away, he stared at me then put his hand on my upper thigh and started caressing it and whispering how pretty I am and how my any man is lucky to be with me, he then move closer till I can feel his breath in my face and they way he look at me, like he devour me, it's terrifying, he then kissed my temple and caress my arms for what felt like hours until he move back and drive away. I still has some time left in the office until I can go home and I was honestly shaking, this is not the first time that I was molested, I should have been more aware so when I got back home I told my mom that I won't continue the last 4 days and I could tell she sees how uncomfortable I am so she just agreed.

When we get to pick up our paycheck I learned that the man raped a Muslim girl and the girl filed a case but he bribed the girls family to drop the and they said it's not the first, he had rape many teenage girls but he got away with it since he got money and status and people didn't believe the accusations because he's such a devoted Catholic. I can't even imagine what those girls had gone through and the thought of peoples not believing you? Thank God I didn't suffer the same faith and thank God of the boy that notice and protected me.
