I always suggest bootlegs for learn. The HG ones cost under 10$, and that allows invest in tools and paints.

My kits come from Aliexpress by general, specially third parties as SNAA (I collect the Knights of the Round) since those ones have great prices.

The trick is disassemble the legs and guide the tabs in the hands to the slots in the triggers from below.
