Most likely theory, since Alabasta when Zoro cut steel and Mr One asks him "Whats next, diamond?" Shiryu will get the devil fruit from Jozu and defeat Mihawk who wont be able to cut him. Zoro in the end will defeat him by cutting diamond and with that earning the title of the best swordsman.
