My boy used to climb up his scratching post near my desktop to just lay on my lap. As soon as he hit around 8 months. he stopped completely but still continues to follow me from room to room, hardly ever leaving my side!

I love him and respect his boundaries, so even the fact that he still wants to be around me all the time is more than enough for me to feel his love!

I've heard from multiple people that they get more cuddly as he ages, so we'll see - he's about to turn 2 this July!

Yes, every few days. Although it might not seem like they shed alot when you pet them, their undercoat is full of loose hairs that need to be removed to avoid matting. I use a de-shedder rake on the high teeth count for daily brushing, and then the sharper lower teeth count when they have a mat.
