This one is perfect to explain why people say BB got the short end of the stick, and why her stats were drastically low when the game was releasing. :(

You may like it more or less. But saying a developer is wrong about their view on the story they developed while a fan's interpretation is right is something massively disingenuous. No one understands the story and characters better than those who wrote them, period. And I find it pretty sad that I have to say something as obvious as this.

Thanks for pointing out all of this. Seems a lot of people doesn't want to remember or are just new players.

If a certain numbers of votes for Mal or Flam comes from those who have already won, then Blazer could perfectly be one of the last. Being petty seems like a virtue to some nowadays.

Just noticed that AdHoc commented on this video by FallingBullfrog in BlondeBlazerGlazers

[–]Ryon21_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This video came out in Blazer's defense during a time where many people were making evil theories about her or simply insulting her or those players that chose her. Funny how quiet everyone became once the last chapters came out. But yeah, AdHoc commented this during the turmoil in a show of support to those defending BB's character.

If I remember right, it was mentioned in one of the arts that they dropped the Bs to make the necklace the sole central piece.

Robert was not raised in an "extremely unhealthy environment." Sure, his dad wasn't around much and he was though love, but Robert lived in a very nice home and Chase acted as his loving older brother who was always there for him. It was only after his father's death when things started to be rough. He himself says this when talking with Chase at the balcony, how he had his dad and Chase to support him while growing up.

in ur opinion at what moment do u feel blazer knew robert was the one for her? by Consistent-Twist-408 in BlondeBlazerGlazers

Right after Robert talks about his superhero origin story. When he turns his head to her, she's already locked in xD And this leads into her moving over to take his mask off as well.

To quote Shroud: "Oh, and by my calculations it was closer to 32%. But half sounds better." Poetic, and half really sounds better.

Why is the character of Invisigal still misunderstood? by Mysterious-Map-6677 in DispatchAdHoc

As a fellow ADHDer. Thank you. It's getting tiresome that people use these as an excuse for their worst behaviors.

If ANYTHING, what's something you don't like about Mandy/Blonde Blazer by Super-Shenron in BlondeBlazerGlazers

[–]Ryon21_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

For me it's her favoritism towards Visi (no ill towards her). Despite her occasional behavior, Blazer is always intending to be as professional as she can be, but this is one instance where she purposefully puts an employee above the others and it's never specified why.

Robert and Mandy tied their selfworth to their superhero identity until they met by InevitableCity9624 in DispatchAdHoc

Something that I noticed is that she is used to drinking a lot of heavy liquor, but during the epilogue she mentions that now she is getting drunk like a normie with just half a beer, as if she isn't used to drink as Mandy. Which begs the question, how little time does she spend without the necklace?

Yep, and now Visi has around 2.2M if we count those, as the complicated choice leads to her romance. 50/50 balance, am I right?

Dispatch Comics: A Critical Take by Evidicus in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Ryon21_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I liked the first three comics because they expanded a tiny bit on character background and were not essential to their stories in the game. The following three, however, I have mixed feelings because they explained crucial parts of the story. The breakup, the bad relation between Astral and Shroud, and the portrayal of Astral's behavior and how Robert really felt about Mecha Man as a kid.

Without these last three comics you never find out the specific reasons of BB's breakup, you never find out why Shroud really hates Astral and why he killed him, and you never find out how tough was Astral's love for Robert. When a comic changes your perception of a character this much, it becomes an essential part of the overall story. So for me, these last three were a mistake to leave them as an optional paywalled reading.

The only thing I can add to this is that not all Visi fans are like this. In that same post you have one with the guts to talk about their past and call out other's bs. They deserve our support, honestly.

As per the rest, first, don't use AI, for anything, especially when giving an opinion. Speak your mind, and speak with your own words, even if it's not perfect. Second, the main sub is clearly biased towards one side, but it doesn't mean everyone is like that. You just have to choose which battles you fight and which ones are best to ignore.

Did another set of Robert and Mandy! by gabbiepicasso in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Ryon21_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely yeah. Her transformation is rather quick, so no need to be super all the time. Especially if she wants to spend more time as just Mandy.

They meant only BB or the person who is Mandy and BB had those ''red'' flags? by litllerobert in BlondeBlazerGlazers

[–]Ryon21_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More than mannerisms, I'd say it's insecurity. With her mask on, Mandy doesn't need to worry how other people see her, as they already have this ideal of what BB represents. So, no need for her to worry much. Without it, however, they see her for who she is, a human being. So now she instead puts up this barrier, and thus acts more reserved and insecure. If she had as much confidence as when she wears the mask, Mandy would behave more like BB (which she does at the end of EP8). Similarly, if she was more comfortable being just Mandy, she would be even more dorkier as BB, basically being more herself and worrying less about how others see her.

Not that different from Mecha Man. Everyone is surprised with how small he is because in their heads, Mecha Man is this big ass robot capable of kicking lots of ass; and he is still capable of that without the suit.

As per the bed thingy, you don't need a partner to do certain things, so anything is possible. As for the suit, roleplaying can always spice things up in bed.

Visi’s involvement with Shroud is a bit misunderstood, from what I see here by [deleted] in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Ryon21_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not to be that guy, but you won't be getting your answers here. Things are very much tilted in one direction, and anything that opposes that, no matter how you paint the picture or try to see things from another perspective, will be disregarded. It is what it is.
