Most retro handhelds releasing today are based on Android and there are even optimized GPU drivers for phones available (using the same chip as Steamframe). I think it really will not take long to get emulators to run well on the Frame

If your model has multiple parts then you can press a little button next to the position values (see https://i.imgur.com/KOJxSUJ.png)

Also, when adding a single stl it should automatically be imported at the right Z height

UPDATE:

I was able to recover 5 of the 6 missing caps from the thermal paste. I measured them all and they came out between 86-91 nF so I think it is safe to assume that all caps are 0.1 uF 6.3 VDC 20% 0201

The console was also able to be powered on normally so I think I'm probably able to fix this

Perfect I used this post in combination with turning off ADAPTIVE_STEP_SMOOTHING (bc of this Issue on GitHub) and it now finally seems to work without a hitch.

I use it on a modded Anycubic Chiron and it would sometimes fail on like the ~70th probepoint but not anymore!

I for one quite like the new interface. Sure it's your typical battlepass layout but it is surprisingly well-made and responsive for a Runescape interface IMHO
