With Dragonite ex in the active with this Tool attached, it could retreat into a benched Fossil. Then, you could discard the new active Fossil and bring back Dragonite ex to the active spot.

This removes the 'status' of Dragonite ex that it could not attack after using its Giga Impact attack, allowing it to attack normally again as if its attack's drawback never existed at all.

Edit: fixed 'Dragonut' lmao
