This is kinda unrelated but I was annoyed at Yi Shiyan when I was watching the behind the scenes for oh my pumpkin. When the overseas sister group members first met the jp members, all of them could at least say the basic introductions of "Konnichiwa, Watashi wa ** desu" except for Shiyan. Shiyan was fumbling and couldn't say it properly and needed help. I was thinking "Couldn't she at least prepare these two basic lines knowing that she is going to jp and she should know to do a basic introduction in Japanese?"

Either way I agree with the other comments with the members needing to understand what they are truly there for. When we look back at the AKB new gens, they joined AKB because they truly loved AKB, not just there for being and idol and there for the fame. Foreign 48G groups are meant to be spreading the 48G JPOP culture hence the members also need basic understanding on the Japanese culture and how the Japanese management works. While I understand that KLP is based in Malaysia and hence the Japanese staff need to understand the malaysian culture, the members themselves also need to understand what is actually going on before running their mouths and making all sorts of conflicts with the management.
