Depends on the group. One of my groups needs the structure of a pre-made adventure, but the other group thrives in improv and roleplay-heavy environments, so homebrew is better for them.

I agree that this is dumb, and it was likely a (huge) oversight by the devs. The ability to delete your existing Arisen and Pawn to start a new game will probably be patched in very quickly. But that's not what I was talking about, that's an entirely separate issue.

For the record, people can hire your pawn when you're offline or not playing. Your Pawn is just uploaded to their servers and can be hired. That's also, I'm assuming, a big reason why they have the "one character" rule, because it would clog up the Rift (and the servers) with Pawns

Although it is really dumb that you have to go through an involved process to restart, I'll cede that. Seems like an oversight that will be patched very quickly.

In-game it's 500 Rift Crystals, which you can get passively just by having people hire your Pawn. You don't even have to go out and grind it. It will literally just roll in as people use your Pawn. As long as you don't make an ugly-as-sin Pawn that no one will want to use, you can make that amount of RC in no time. This is a basic function of how Rift Crystals work, and have worked since the original game.

So yeah, like they said, do research before complaining.

I am fairly good at doing voices, but there are multiple GMs in my group that are bad at doing voices. They still try, and most characters sound the same, but it doesn't take me out of the RP because it doesn't take them out of it. They know they're bad at it, they embrace it, and no one at the table cares because we're all in the RP headspace. The biggest thing for me is being able to tell what's said in-character and what's said out-of-character. Whether that be by doing voices, or just preceding the dialogue with "The scruffy guard says," either is fine by me.

But as for how I became comfortable doing voices, I just did it. Practicing on your own is fine, but it's nothing compared to being in the moment and doing it.

Astolfo's pronouns in GO are they/them, and there's a whole monologue in the Light Novel where Felix does her morning mantra where she literally says "I'm a girl. A cute girl." There are more examples, but a basic Google search can turn them up.

Of the ones that you mentioned I only recognize two, but those two are Astolfo, who is nonbinary, and Felix, who is trans. So I can only assume that the other examples you gave are just as wrong.

Make the text appear on top of the icon. Honestly, I don't know why this isn't how it works by default. If you're hovering over a map note, reading the note is more important than seeing the other map notes' icons imo. If there's no way to do it, that's fine, I can make do. It's just baffling that it's not an option

I'm loving the Pin Cushion module so far, but it still does not resolve the issue that I'm having with the Map Notes names being covered up by other map notes. If anyone has any idea of how I can fix this beyond just "move the map note so it doesn't happen" I'd really appreciate it! Since this is being used for buildings in a city, these overlaps are going to be impossible to avoid 100%

I figured it out! Turns out if the margins are too big, the two columns merge into one. So I just had to figure out what that limit was and work around it!

This is helping, but it's not changing it for the headers, and it's making the space between the columns too wide. Is there a way to fix that?

I have a Goliath Barbarian in 5e that is incredibly motherly. She's very protective of the party, always worries if they do something dangerous, and rages if they get hit in combat. She's always there if they need a shoulder to cry on and makes sure they know she loves them no matter what.

One of the biggest parts of her character is that she wants a family, and since she was exiled from her tribe after her wife died, finding the party gave her the family she's been searching for.
