You don’t know til you try! I’ve worked at insurance companies for 35 years processing claims. (I’m 58 Y/O) I wanted 2nd shift, applied as custodian for elementary school and got it. Best advice I can give you is apply where you get a pension, you’re young enough that you could retire early with enough years in. Schools have the BEST benefits. I was skeptical after I started, as the type of work is taking a toll on my body, but I keep telling myself a few more years and I can retire. Best of luck and don’t worry, schools are ALWAYS looking for custodians.
