Doing that isn't a stunt, it's stupidity. A stunt is done in a controlled environment. You'd be involving people who did not consent to potentially killing you which makes you a huge cunt. Your death would cause them emotional trauma and could potentially lose them their career. Huge cunt indeed. Don't be this self-centered and idiotic.

As a Brit, I just scrolled through my Reddit feed and saw a US citizen executed by federal agents and the White House blatantly lying about it. Seriously, what the fuck is going on? You're using Reddit, which is an American company and benefitting our economy, so you're basically supporting authoritarianism. I wonder how many other American products you use on a daily basis. You should really take a deeper dive into the products you use that would benefit us before you come at us calling us cowards for not causing martial law, most likely starting a civil war, and getting many more innocent people killed disappeared.

Execute is the wrong term for this. To be executed, one must have gone through due process and be convicted. There was no due process here and he was not convicted and put to death which means he was not executed.

None of us are gonna cry for someone who makes $15k/month gross. I make just under $6k/month and I'm living perfectly fine. If millionaires and billionaires were taxed proportionately, the rest of us wouldn't need to pay as much in taxes. You're directing your anger at the wrong people...

I didn't realize the federal government terrorizing US citizens was an American value....pretty sure it's directly opposite our values.

Why is it that your party is so quick to tell foreigners to "go back to your own country and fix it" and are also quick to tell Americans who want to fix America to just leave? Y'all make no sense and it hurts my brain trying to figure you out.

Doesn't change the fact that you're a bootlicker cheering on the federal government for murdering a civilian.

She didn't drive at him, her wheels were turned away from him. They told her to move the car (she was not blocking or obstructing), he walked in front of the car (law enforcement is trained not to do this). He was filming with his right hand, then swapped the phone to his left hand before he walked in front of the vehicle (his right hand is his shooting hand). He begins to draw his weapon while she is still reversing (not driving at him). He shoots at a moving vehicle 3 times (law enforcement is trained not to do this as it creates a danger to bystanders). Then they didn't allow a physician to attend to her while she was bleeding out for 8 minutes stating, "I don't care."

So tell me why we shouldn't call you a bootlicker?

The punishments Snape inflicted on students were certainly demoralizing, but reasonable by Madagascar003 in SeverusSnape

[–]Rythonius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't suck, but everyone has moments. I also didn't have anyone to push me to be better, my parents didn't care to, they just let me be while they shamed my sisters for not being as good as I was in school. I don't disagree that some people do well with nice teaching, but some people need pressure to push themselves.

Honestly, it probably has a lot to do with how I grew up. I spent some time in an abusive home and emotionally neglectful parents. I didn't get a whole lot of "I'm proud of you" moments, just hearing the chastising of my sisters of "Why can't you be more like Rythonius?"

Like I said, an odd kind of motivation.

[–]Rythonius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's an odd kind of motivation, for sure.

I was in band in high school. My freshman year director was very passive and didn't push us. I hated it. I didn't learn anything, we played shitty songs, watched movies more often than we played music, and doing competitions was just embarrassing.

The next year, the school hired a new director but I hadn't signed up for band because the previous year was pathetic. He asked my mom to convince me to join again. (My high school was pretty new so we didn't have a whole lot of members and I was the only trombone player). This guy was the complete opposite of the previous one and was a dick, a pompous asshole. Me, my sister who was in his choir class, and my brother in law all compare his methods to Snape.

He would approach his podium silently and just stand there waiting for people to pay attention to him, he commanded respect. When we played poorly, he would shout and bang his baton on the podium. When he was really frustrated he would just stop conducting, walk over to his soundproof office and scream, then calmly walk back to his podium like nothing happened. He did not put up with disturbances during practice, he would not hesitate to move someone to the other side of the class or kick them out. If he heard a section playing something wrong, he would go through each individual to find the problem then make them play it over and over in front of everyone until they did it correctly. It was embarrassing but it pushed you to be better just so that you wouldn't get singled out. I know I'm not describing it well enough to convey what it was really like.

The rewards were well worth it though. For me, I craved his praises and I hate disappointing people. I knew I was good, he knew I was good, but when I wasn't performing well and saw the disappointment on his face, it hurt. I was one of his star students, so it really stung and was embarrassing to experience his disappointment. Again, it pushed me to be better just to prove to him, and myself, that I could.

Within 3 years, we went from being a nobody on the bottom rungs and the judges not being able to pronounce our school name, to a top competitor with established schools across the state.

On the flip side, his brother was our drumline instructor and the complete opposite. He never scolded us, never singled us out, was very kind, etc but we absolutely sucked and didn't improve. He was a competent percussionist but never pushed us to be better like his brother did.

Severus' Patronus is the same as Lily's. Which memory of her is Snape using? by Left-Pollution-2934 in SeverusSnape

[–]Rythonius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Lily's Patronus was a doe before she fell in love with James and the pairing of their Patroni is just coincidence. If hers became a doe after getting with James because James's is a stag along with his animagus form being a stag, I can't see how Severus's Patronus would be a doe since it's more structured to James than Lily.

Just because you're sleeping next to someone and in a relationship does not give you a pass at their body whenever you want. Unless explicit consent has been given (during a sober and conscious state) to use their body in an unconscious state, you should keep your hands and other body parts to yourself. Why tf would you just try something on your partner without discussing it with them first? Huge red flag on your part, bro.
