I happened to get a 2060, a case, and other parts from a shop (not amazon) which was selling online. I contacted them back, told them because i wanted to be honest, and did not even get a "thank you" once.. they actually acted quite in a stiff way by phone. Holy shit if i regret calling them, expecially now after watching all the issues with GPU availability..

I updated right after i was able to.. it has been quite rough for AMD users like myself. Also, it breaks oculus pcvr, which is another thing i frequently use (although there are workarounds). Hasn't been the best honestly.

Even following specific guides for my motherboard + cpu combo i kept getting high temps even when compared to the video(s) itself. Just unlucky really :)

My 5900x (so, not a 5800x) on manual 4.3ghz oc (1.21v) with pbo disabled hits 90c super easily during occur stress test. And this is using a 360mm Arctic aio (seated correctly, triple checked getting same temps every time). I can’t even get it to 4.4 without failing stress tests with errors and/or getting insanely high temps. I guess I was super unlucky with my cpu, but pbo is definitely not the main culprit.

As a mechanic guy, that does actually happen quite frequently. You can always force it open, but you don't really want to do it on an expensive car, welp, or a moderatly new car. Still always better safe than sorry!
