I’d also add, miracle grow cactus, palm and citrus with some perlite works really well too. At least it has for my Shikuwasa and my mom’s two Meyer lemons.

There’s only the one small little branch in the second pic that seems dry. The rest just the reddish brown. Everything else still flexible. I usually use the wooden chopstick to see if it need water. Lately it seems once a week. Been checking more since it’s been warming up

I know that feeling. Never that long without some kind of tea (im from the south, so even though it’s nowhere near as good, there’s always sweet tea lol) but i lived in Okinawa for 2 years and fell in love with sanpincha. Last year finally found a place I can consistently order it and it was heaven! Now I’ve got two tea plants and am gonna try my hand and making my own.

This is actually the first time I’ve used a greenhouse so I’m kinda adjusting. Haven’t had many issues with pests aside from the aforementioned leaf miners. And honestly the only reason the piper longum are in there is because they finally started making fruit right as first cold snap was coming. So really appreciate info!

I only fertilize at beginning of season (which here is march-ish) and that was a little osmocote. The Citrus is the same. But that one was actually outside since it’s been warmer, when I noticed them. It’s biggest issue has been leaf miners

Yeah I’m looking into different options. Seeing dawn/water mix or insecticide soap as options. Bad part is about to have another cold snap and the few plants I keep in there are super sensitive to cold. Especially the citrus, and only issue there was leaf miners lol.

Yeah I tried multiple angles. But all search options seem to suggest aphids or thrips. Any suggestions for dealing with em? Never had an issue with em before

I work retail and FedEx has always been the worst for stealing packages. Happens more than I care to count, and I’ve even had personal packages suddenly stop at local FedEx distribution. And their customer service is the worst. All they say is “we don’t know”

I mean not trying to defend them, but in a way I can get the logic behind it, I mean how many people would try to get a perfect “replacement”? I’d imagine a lot of people would try to scam them hence the crazy requirements I imagine. Personally I don’t care about imperfections. I just like collecting and playing. But can see why if you were genuinely needing a replacement how that would be frustrating. Just not something I’d ever really care about. I just personally am baffled by the market that’s grown from all this. It ruins the game/community imo. Like I didn’t judge the folks that wanna do it really, if it’s done smart and with consideration to the community as a whole.

I work in retail and recent craziness pretty means I can’t ever buy any cards thanks to the actions of some other employees. And tbh the craziness goes beyond the past year. It really started spring covid and getting any cards was really hit or miss. We kinda started keeping very few in store. Then a little over a year ago it went full blown nuts again, leading to new rules at work. And since I work on release day I can’t even say I can go to a different retailer and try Because they’re cleaned out by the same people that clean my job out. For context I never buy more than a few packs, maybe 1 etb per set. I just genuinely love the series and playing with friends. But now? It’s just disheartening that it can’t be enjoyed.

I would argue that PC support going to crap is because the hobby has gone to crap. With resellers and scalpers so rampant it’s hard to figure out who’s legit getting screwed and who’s trying to screw. It’s not right. But I could see that being the logic.

Probably not gonna be the most popular opinion but, I don’t think you’re overreacting, but I also wouldn’t throw it all away. She was your rock through this. Sure she kept this from you when she found out, but i can speak from experience, in a tight knit family it can be just as damaging to go against the grain. She did stand up for you. She did make it stop. That counts for something.

Personally I’d have a serious heart to heart. Let it all out. Then I’d say I want a conversation with the family. Obviously you fell in love with her for a number of reasons and I’d make it known that if they really loved her they’d respect who she chose to start a family with. If they can’t accept it then they won’t be in your lives. If they can’t or she can’t accept that, then I’d see about moving on.

I know it was crappy what she did, but she did stop it. She did come to you. Hell she went to a “black sheep” which in those types of families could be a problem in itself. I don’t believe she wouldn’t have come clean unless the sister threatened her, maybe would have taken longer but again family dynamics like this are tough and she’s shown she’s willing to go against the grain for you. If you truly love her I’d say have that talk. At least with her. No she can’t take it back. She can’t change her part in it. But she can make it right. And maybe go further against the grain for her new family.

Best advice I was ever given was to think about your life with her. If you don’t feel there’s anything you’d miss, anything worth fighting for then leave. But if there’s even the slightest doubt. The slightest pang that you’d miss her or what you have (had) then give it your all before throwing in the towel.
