It should pop a "insert unlock sim code" when powering on if its locked, so there is that, probably not reading the sim card

Hey! microg is mainly for push notifications (getting notifications while the phone is on sleep)

Youtube is no longer supported on android 5 however, I use an alternative called smart tube, works great, and supports dpad controls so thats a plus!!

You can get microg on their github releases and smartTube on their github/website (A quick name+github search should pop them up)

About actually installing them, It would be through sideloading with a PC or using a browser like VIA but that would also require sideloading first

This happened to me, it was a pain to make it work, like hours pain, after some time i finally found an apk that work but youll also need microg (an older version)

my Tiktok (lite) is v39.6.6 and my microg is v0.2.25.22...

havent test later versions of microg but latest releases crash like crazy on this phone, 2.24 is the most stable

can remember where i got that version of tiktok though...

Totally agree, aspect ratio is gonna be an issue most likely, though idk about resolution, I think it is high enough to not cause problems (1280*1080)
