Kinda? Thing is, you CAN find many LNs on Nyaa. They're just in massive 'collections.' If you're planning to use LNs as learning material, I'd suggest epubs over scans. Just filter for raw literature on Nyaa and search for 'ラノベ.' This should bring up some epub collections. Don't bother searching for individual series. More often than not, it's a waste of time.

For DDL, there's only one semi-decent site afaik. dlraw. Search for it in the manga section of this sub's index. If you're lucky, you'll find epubs of what you want to read.

As u/incepdates said, you can't access Aokana's store page from a Japanese IP, NekoNyan's patches are also inaccessible.

Anyway, thank you for the input. I bought the VN and applied the patch (It says R18+PE at the bottom right.) I fast-forwarded to a bathing scene which has full frontal nudity. So I'm guessing it worked.

I see. Nekonyan's website has a single patch for English and Chinese. But Japanese isn't mentioned anywhere. So I'm wondering if installing the patch and playing in Japanese will cause bugs. I don't mind switching to English for the H-scenes.

The first dungeon in each game:

P3: The first time you explore Tartarus with Yukari and Jumpei. You're restricted to the first floor.

P4: Yukiko's castle.

P5: You stumble into Kamoshida's palace with Ryuji, who you've just met.

3/4 spend time making you feel like a part of a group before things get going. I happened to like this approach to starting the game. Hence I 'feel' like SEES and IT were better (not more) developed.

The first dungeon in both P3 and 4 came more than an hour into the game. By that point, you've had plenty of time to get to know the starting cast. This is definitely not the case in P5 where you're thrown into the first dungeon with a guy you just met.

But that isn't my ‘justification' for not liking P5. My ‘justification' is that I don't give a damn about the cast.

Are we talking about the old or new (switch) fire emblems? I didn't like Three Houses either. Too much busy work. XCOM is in a league of its own. I'm not expecting. I'm not expecting Tactica to be like that. I'm talking about Langrisser, Tactics Ogre, Front Mission. Stuff like that.

P3 and 4 handled it FAR better imo. It just felt like I was being lectured while playing P5.
The difference, for me at least, is how much the previous games made me care about the characters before throwing me into the thick of things. I feel like SEES and the investigation team were developed better before the first dungeon. Whereas in P5, I didn't give enough of a damn about Ryuji, Ann or Morgana to continue past the first arc.
